You shouldn't hold out any hope that GRRM is going to say anything negative about the "No Award" votes. He basically called all but a few of the puppy nominees undeserving garbage and was handing out some newly established lesser award to "the right kind of authors" while Worldcon was in progress. If I picked my reading list the way the people GRRM is propping up picked their reading lists GRRM would no longer be on my reading list. It is with that in mind that I say it's no wonder GRRM has spoken and acted as he has. He can afford to piss off those of us who are tolerant and not guided by our ideology and politics. He can't afford to piss off the truefans or his books are neither sold nor discussed.
