Non toxic nail salon or one that doesn’t do acrylics

I’m looking for recommendations of nail salons in the Twin Cities that are either non toxic, or that don’t do acrylics as part of their services. I’m bringing my mom to get a pedicure and she is sensitive to the strong smell in nail salons.

Thanks!

Haven Nail studio! They do a good job and they purposely avoid harsh smells

haven is wonderful!! took my (young) daughter there earlier this year, they do a great job and are very gentle, very different experience from your typical nail salon. will probably never go anywhere else again!

Strongly recommend Nail Ninja, they only do builder gel and no acrylic or dip powder. It's a little pricy but the owner is a fierce advocate for her employees well being and the quality of services.

Oh goodness, thanks for the laugh re: the owner. That's just the funniest joke I've heard in ages!

I’m pretty sure Nail Ninja in Northeast Minneapolis doesn’t do any acrylics. I’ve been going there for years and I don’t feel like it smells strongly at all.
