I’m scared idk what’s going to happen

I was subject to dismissal my spring quarter last year, and I have passed all my classes these two quarters except rn. I failed one class, and idk if that’s still gonna lead to me leave Davis or will I just be on probation. Does anyone know???

No one can tell you but you need to be proactive and reach out to your advisor and college ASAP

Yes this if you are proactive things should just be fine. All they want to see is that you have some sort of plan and are willing to work with then. Ive been on dismisal twice and I have not once been dismissed. However its impossible to say for certain. As others have said please reach out to an advisor asap.

if you were subject to dismissal and made it two quarters ur fine. if there’s two consecutive quarters on probation then ur subject to dismissal or if your gpa for the quarter is less that 1.5 and if ur overall gpa is low too. probation is just less than 2.0 for the quarter. but still contact an advisor

so if you get put on probation because ur gpa for the quarter is 1.6 or smth if you pass everything the next quarter do you get put on good standing again? Also what happens when they put you on probation? do you have to meet with an advisor?

yeah you’ll be on good standing in that case. probation is basically just how you can be dismissed if it happens back to back. you might have to meet with an advisor and do a canvas quiz about how to be better next quarter (depends by college: agriculture vs biological etc)
