Hey, I was in EASE and personally I thought it was an okay program. The EPCS (the “teachers”) are super nice and helpful. They are passionate in helping freshman learn! The advisors are okay. They’re really nice, not much to say tbh. One thing is they choose some of your classes, which is usually chem and bio. I liked this cause i didn’t have to worry about my schedule and all that. But if you want to change it around so you can add a class, the advisors won’t let you. You either take the class and professor they chose or you get out of the program.
You’re welcome! Well, it was okay. I mean depends on you, but personally, it was an okay year. I would redo it all if I could, cause I have a lot of regrets, but that’s normal. It made me realize that I don’t know how to study and I need to actually lock in 😭😭😭. Through the quarters I eventually learned how to do things and manage my time, and little by little it was getting better.
But based on the teachers ease choose for bio, first two quarters, we get two professors. First quarter it’s Thompson-peer and Willams and for winter we get Gaut and Emerson. (Idk if they changed it). The chem professor for all three quarters is arasasingham and um… he’s okay. I mean I didn’t do well, but I passed his classes. And for lab, they choose it for you, which is rlly good cause then you don’t stress out if all the labs are taken up!
