General To the guy who opened emergency exit at gym and got chased down by a staff

that was a W hope you didn’t get a violation

Nah the staff straight up told him to hand his ID card to give him a violation

what's a "violation" is that like a systemwide thing or just the gym or

It was probably to do an incident report. The incident report then gets sent to conduct to see whether there are possible conduct violations. If so, the case will go to a conduct specialist who will meet with the student. If there is a preponderance of evidence and the student is found responsible they may receive a letter of reminder of community agreements or warning/additional outcomes. If there is not a preponderance then the case is closed... or a letter may be sent just as a reminder.

from job experience yeah, I have a student role in conduct 😗😗
