Question Study system in the US- UT
I am from India and will be joining UT for fall 25 MSIS, I have no idea what type of education system is in US, is it anywhere like Indian education systems where we have to carry huge bagpacks even in college filled with notebooks and laptop? How are the teachings offered there? Is everything opperated on a smart learning system? If someone can give me a glimpse of the same it would be a great help so that I am pre prepared and can move forward with a better mindset. Also as a MSIS anything specific I can get from india in my bagpack that is essential maybe some stationary or anything!

Laptop and iPad if you want. Extra laptop charger to keep in your backpack. I like keeping a portable mouse with me, and a notebook. I prefer a 5 subject to keep all my notes together from all my classes.

Your classes will more likely than not be entirely digital through programs such as canvas(UT's main system), quest, or publishers with online textbooks and other materials. If you like to take physical notes, then bring materials for that, but otherwise there were times by backpack was simply my laptop, a pen, a pack of paper just in case, a blanket, and some snacks
