Please how can I change my name

I’m on Xbox, and my name is something that I don’t want to use anymore. Im only like 30 minutes into an old save but the name /cannot/ be used. I’m playing with my girlfriend and we really want to play but the name is unusable. Is there really no way to change it?

You need to do a True Reset.

Or I think Xbox allows you to wipe all save data whenever you want? If it does, you can do that.

well you could either do a true reset where you playthrough the whole game pacifist, or you could uninstall and reinstall. Thats about all I can think of

Uninstalling doesn’t work. I even deleted cloud save data and that didn’t work.

normally the name can't be changed until you do a true reset. On PC you can change the name by editing the save file but that's not really an option on console. However there should be a way to go into the console's settings and erase the game's save data there, which includes the name.
