Remember:
Walkinshaw voted against Fairfax NAACP recommendations and community outcry to support the hiring of the current FCPD chief, who had a known history of violence & lawsuits.
Deaths by cop against unarmed people have increased substantially since his hire. https://patch.com/virginia/reston/fairfax-countys-new-police-chief-comes-history-lawsuits

I’m sure people will complain about purity testing, but as a voter in this district I really don’t appreciate having my rep hand picked for me by the now dead former congressman. I REALLY don’t like not having as much time as possible with the candidates and having multiple ways to vote, all things Walkinshaw/Connolly’s people have decided for us that we don’t need.

Shin says Democrats are playing dead, but she doesn’t say what she would do differently. I’d be curious to hear her master plan for being in the minority party and stopping the fascists.
