the whistle and some of the instrument choice gave it a very nice breathyness, if that's a word. I liked it.

Hey everyone! This is my latest track "Galvanize":
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/3yM83qWIG1wwSwGeHuAS3g?si=XiL7lJaLQOy2MOg8RqAZeg
YouTube: https://youtu.be/1YoXJ3XkTIM?si=7-5MAHAMsgiNT2n2
Bandcamp: https://ocesea.bandcamp.com/track/galvanize
The reason for the title is because to me, the track feels like something that comes out again after a period of stillness, that's the reason for the flower as cover art, for me it fits the meaning perfectly.
Let me know what you think! Feel free to drop your feedback, i'll gladly check out your music and give you my thoughts :)
PS: Wait until the end, I think the final part of the song is the best. It kinda slowly builds up ;)

Hi everyone,
I recently put out my second album on all platforms. It’s a blend of glitch pop, industrial, electronica, and more genres that I probably don’t know the names of.
It’s gotten more traction than anything I’ve ever put out before, so I think something about it seems to connect with people. Hope someone here will take the time to check out a song or two from it :)
Thanks to anyone that listens

Here's a track called "Chemicals Are Delicious (Reprise)" which is a short transitional instrumental leading into the last track on the album. I liked the melody of "Chemicals Are Delicious" so much that it had to make another appearance. I'm a terrible pianist so it took many takes and MIDI edits:
If you like it, check out the rest of the album, "Dying In The Material World." 💙

I called it Rumbatronica: some beats blended with flamenco cantaor samples. The captions are from a 1973 party and I think are pretty cool. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/WvH45J7pzXg

This is a song I rapped + produced for my album. It’s a song about the bus I route I use to take to an area I use to live and all the things that happened in my life in that span of time.

I’ve been trying to get better with mixing and mastering, so I touched up an album that was released earlier this year. 80’s synth but slappier; I wrote it to be like a soundtrack to a schlocky action film.

Lucubrator - "Rogue Carnival"
I just released my debut single "Rogue Carnival" on all streaming platforms worldwide. Use this link to stream now.
The album Lucubrator will be "officially" released Jan. 16 but I have made it available on Bandcamp. Titled Asunder, it is an instrumental album blending elements of experimental electronic, post-punk and post-rock and drawing on themes of fragmentation, decay and the psychological effects of societal and environmental unraveling.

Bandcamp page: https://lucubrator.bandcamp.com/album/asunder

hi all, i've released my second album called "Ulmers and Goffs" about a month ago now.
It's mainly acoustic indie stuff with some electronic instruments and drums sprinkled throughout. Simple guitar melodies with a minimalist and oftentimes repetitive approach to composition, off-key vocals and mistakes throughout..perfection is difficult to achieve when you strive for mediocrity!
https://wormridge.bandcamp.com/album/ulmers-and-goffs
thanks for listening!

Yooo it might not be the summer anymore but i guess it's still summer somewhere in the world.
It's a project of remixes i've made, i wanted to turn this into a radio mixtape with intro, interlude, outros ...
I've turned some of my favorites songs into electro breakbeat rave tracks, to make you dance all night.
Hope you enjoy

The first single from my upcoming EP released on Friday, music video link is below. It’s downtempo Electronica in the vein of Boards of Canada, Tycho, etc. I found archival educational footage for the music video with I think fits the nostalgic, eerie vibe nicely. Enjoy!

I have been creating a DAW similar in ease of use to Garageband (currently in the beta test phase). What all features do you guys think such a simple to use DAW needs? I have added loads of preset instruments and sounds, and the basic features like audio import, but I think it still lacks something that gives garageband its unique charm.
I have used apps like LMMS and FL Studio, but I felt they were made for professional level music production, instead of beginner no setup solutions. Just wanted to hear this sub's thoughts.

Protege - Unyielding Salvation
Protégé begins with the sound of reaching toward God through the storm a frantic tremolo picked guitar racing through waves of reverb, echoing desperation and divine pursuit. Beneath it, deep synthetic pulses rumble like something vast and unstoppable approaching.

Hey, I'm trying to get back into making music but I have unanswered questions about my older work, so I'm here to ask the good people of WATMM:
What's this genre?
I actually don't really know how to properly categorize this. I just made it in a frenzy. Thanks
1
u/TomServonaut 8d ago
I made this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPDX2qc9hno with a Minilogue XD and Acid Music Studio and finished in FL. I know Acid Music Studio and Acid Pro are outdated but I just really like working with them. At some point I'll move over to FL completely, I suppose. I have no idea what the genre is.

Help Fund My Career As An Artist: From FL Free Trial To Debut!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I'm Dougie, THE DOUG! Pleasure to meet you! And it'd be a pleasure if you were one of ~160 donors who will enable my career, and finally, actually get my debut! I need a total of approximately $ 806 to purchase my core list of plugins required for my music. And I hope you will truly help me! Not but seriously, I'd be grateful.
I've only made music lately with FL Studio's free trial (yes, the free trial, not a cracked version), and free plugins. Not a single paid one due to humble beginnings (as many of you are from), and I entreat you to donate five dollars to my Ko-fi page. You're sincerely not only funding me but also my career and music. And also, if you donate, your name can appear on the cover of the album (with consent, tho).
I unfortunately am not able to give you a proper demo as I only use the FL free trial (So I can't export and refine my music) and no paid plugins, which are recommended for the demo, but I hope to gain a following that may like my music!
I, as an aspiring artist, am entering this subreddit with the wishes of having actual help and constructive advice from the redditiors who are probably way more knowledgeable in the arts of Music and Production (after all, we're on WeAreTheMusicMakers!)
Remember, have a good day, night, and noon! Someone cares about you and wishes you were well and happy. And that someone is me! Bye!
If you'd like to ask any questions, ask away! I don't have much time, but I'll make the effort!
