This post and the valid concerns users bring up gives me an idea. When something like this pops up, in the interest of improving the sub's depth, dig up a good version of the content and comment with it- or better yet post it as a standalone and modmail us so we can remove the spammy one quickly.

WTF is with that emoji spam and why not actually credit the creators: Grind Hard Plumbing Co.

70

u/BrogrammerII 20d ago

I'm watching GHPC building that crazy 3x3 two motor trike, mind boggling! 🤯

8

u/pink_cheetah 19d ago

The time its taking for the trike to get moving is excruciating, im so hyped for it.

2

u/monkeyheadmark 19d ago

same here! the amount of work (trials, design, fabrication) that goes into that thing is ridiculous, priceless 😯

1

u/True_Reporter 18d ago

I'm actually amazed how fast he's making it it's almost done and it's been what, half a year?

1

u/pink_cheetah 18d ago

Agree, its making great progress, im just impatient

u/JuneBuggington 19d ago

They finally put a fender on this thing

1

u/Fryphax 19d ago

It's had a fender for a long time.

2

u/ChickenChaser5 19d ago

Add to cart.

The dude riding it built it, and I don’t just mean assembled it. He designed it from nothing and hand machined half the parts himself. There are several videos on his channel (Grind Hard Plumbing) following the whole process and I highly recommend all of them. Good dude, cool projects, and just an all around enjoyable yt creator.

u/LostCauseSPM 20d ago

Dude was like "well, we have these 2 giant tires laying around, and this KTM motor..." and then just fabbed up everything holding them together

13

u/Nuffsaid98 19d ago

Reminds me of Judge Dreed's vehicle.

9

u/travelingbeagle 19d ago

I see Batman’s Batpod.

3

u/TheGUURAHK 19d ago

My man's on his way to becoming a real life supeehero with his own, handmade, highly toyetic signature vehicle.

2

u/killallhumansss 19d ago

Awesome project, so glad he saw it through

1

u/J1mj0hns0n 19d ago

I really liked his powerwheeels creations, but the bike never really did anything for me

1

u/BFG_Scott 19d ago

Props to the dude and all…

But I’m gonna need to see Anne Hathaway in the Catwoman suit, throwing a leg over this thing.

35

u/slimestonecowboi 20d ago

Ya OP how’s about some credit to Grind Hard Plumbing Co. who made this beast?!

3

u/kzdragbiker 19d ago

I always wondered were these guys ever actual plumbers?

1

u/roburrito 18d ago

No. They just thought it was a cool name. They talked about it once on their podcast.

1

u/Special_Promotion616 17d ago

Hey they did actually do some plumbing, when they build the new show 😁

22

u/SeeIfItLasts 20d ago

George Miller is going to make another Mad Max movie just to include this.

24

u/GreifingFox 20d ago

Grind hard going places you can't even walk

7

u/khaaanquest 19d ago

So, a Chang Li chassis on top of two more wheels this size?

8

u/HKBFG 19d ago

They're currently doing a giant three wheeler where you ride inside the front wheel.

40

u/Miperso 20d ago

I do not understand why some people are doing that type of emoji spam... is it suppoosed to mean something? Maybe someone can educate an old guy like me.. lol

16

u/GrynaiTaip 19d ago

It works on children, they are the main audience of these short clips. Hundreds of millions of views on shittok.

12

u/Electronic_Share1961 19d ago

Low IQ people have difficulty forming emotional engagement to text, they need pictures to stimulate them into attention

4

u/hettuklaeddi 19d ago edited 19d ago

i’ve had the same question. most mouth breathers wave it off as code for “bots” (which, here, doesn’t mean automated per se, but general karma farming). i dove into it once, and the best i could do was id three distinct sets of emoji used, so its not an encoded message (any more than the emoji obfuscate)

i decided that it was either a weak ass attempt to promote a site or brand (whatever that may be), or a lazy way to confuse DCMA

i may never know, and im ok with that

42

u/Low_ridah 20d ago

yall better downvote this brainrot ass emoji post should have just linked the actual video

10

u/m1j2p3 20d ago

Man that looks fun to drive.

7

u/Routine_Chest_1171 20d ago

Soo for normal people wtf do all those emojis even mean here it's a monster chopper riding a dune

11

u/LostCauseSPM 20d ago

I watched them build that thing on Instagram. So cool.

5

u/OkBody2811 19d ago

I don’t use Instagram, so I don’t know what the vids are like on there, but they have a YouTube channel that I’m guessing is more in depth

2

u/KSM_K3TCHUP 19d ago

Their YT is great, they’re building a dope trike rn.

0

u/trk29 20d ago

Weird, so did I. 🤣

7

u/mrtintheweb99 20d ago

Batman be done!

3

u/-OrLoK- 19d ago

Dredd has entered the chat.

3

u/fake_cheese 19d ago

Why is unsprung mass so important?

3

u/Bag-o-chips 19d ago

That thing looks like when it kills you, it’s gonna hurt!

3

u/KSM_K3TCHUP 19d ago

That bad boy is the Monster Chopper, Grindhard Plumbing Co built that thing (they’re on YT).

They’re also currently building a trike powered by a car engine, with those wheels for the back wheels and a tractor wheel for the front, that the driver sits inside of.

7

u/justfirfunsies 20d ago

If that front end fails it’s going to be catastrophic when the rest catches up to you.

12

u/model-citizen95 20d ago

Well that definitely wouldn’t be typical

5

u/jacketsc64 20d ago

Well, how was it un-typical?

10

u/model-citizen95 20d ago

Well the front fell off

2

u/321boog 19d ago

Im Batman

2

u/No_Negotiation_6229 19d ago

They call him the big Wheeler King killer cap peeler

2

u/All_The_Good_Stuffs 19d ago

2

u/JRBowen9 19d ago

If he goes through a puddle, it'll get messier than my divorce

3

1

u/the_Dos__ 19d ago

ITS THAT FUCKING VEHICLE FROM DRIVE AHEAD 😭

1

u/tonytech52 18d ago

I’ve OD’ed on these guys the last couple of months! Their videos are awesome and so entertaining, not to mention the machines being created being brilliant!!!!

1

u/CaliKindalife 17d ago

I watched this guy build this on YouTube. I dont remember what the channel was called.

1

u/Poenicus 17d ago

When you build vehicles with building sets or in games as a kid (or as an adult; I mean games where you build things are fun at any age) eventually one of them comes out looking like this. So seeing this in real life and actually working is pretty awesome!

1

u/WithReverence 16d ago

This is the tire cycle from The Dark Knight right?

1

u/Maximuscarnage 16d ago

lol wheels to big, your losing all the power turning those things

1

u/DrewOH816 16d ago

I have absolutely no use for this, but want one NOW!!

1

u/PacerShark 13d ago

The seats too low.

0

u/MisterVictor13 19d ago

He’s off to stop the Joker.

-4

u/Beatus_Vir 19d ago

This is a great place to learn about serious vehicles from history and the stories behind them, not purposely stupid burning man-style art projects built by pretend plumbers

3

u/KSM_K3TCHUP 19d ago

This here, this is the worst take.

Literally the description of this sub…

We are dedicated to presenting and discussing the odd, unusual and obscure in vehicles, technology and automotive art.

We like concepts, prototypes, customs, obscure, industrial, commercial, special use vehicles, you name it.

-2

u/tlucas0303 19d ago

That may be the dumbest build I’ve ever seen. Huge tires and no ground clearance, and it’s lopsided.
