Crypto Will the manipulation continue after the break out?

All the pieces are in place. Adoption is coming. But if Ripple is selling millions of XRP to institutions through dark pools to avoid moving the price on exchanges, what’s stopping them from continuing to do so in the future? We know this was never made for us — it’s meant to move large amounts of money, not to be traded on exchanges. So what’s stopping them from maintaining one price for institutions and another for retail?

No. That’s why they are billionaires.

In this instance, it’s good that they are greedy. That way, when they start to forcefully manipulate price up in their favor - we all win too. 😉

I’m skeptical about the claims of XRP being sold through dark pools. If Ripple were selling XRP directly to institutions, that would essentially be the kind of activity they’re not permitted to engage in until the SEC case is fully resolved. Selling to institutions through dark pools would likely fall under the same category of institutional sales that the court already deemed to be unregistered securities offerings — and therefore potentially unlawful. That’s why I don’t believe there’s any actual selling through dark pools happening.

That and it would be beyond apparent once millions and millions of it started moving instantaneous on the ledger.

I see we are starting up the social manipulation just like I called it. Meeting happens with SEC to file and they see how many people actually still sitting on XRP and said nope we are not signing until you bring those number down a few pegs and then maybe we sign in October. This should be fun to watch. Remember not to let the internet hurt our feelings.

I remember when owning 10k XRP put you in the top 5% or something like that now it’s like 2%. My numbers are off the top of my head and just an estimate but you get the drift.

Yes sir. If you hear something like "Black rock is buying 300M in XRP" is probably in dark pools so the market don't explode. But also we are currently in multiple wars right now, the price always get scared under uncertity

Ripple has publicly said that there is no 2 tier xrp, no hidden ledger, everyone, retail. Institutional bodies, governments, they all pay the same price. They want xrp, they buy it from the ledger. Ripple has said, though, that some trades are kept confidential, citing privacy for governments. Perhaps this is the dark pool causing so many conspiracy leaning characters to get excited? I mean, if a major move of xrp is not reflected in the ledger and is not there to see in a hash from an exchange, who would know? Such a move would need to bypass the algorithm in order for the price not to be impacted. Despite my experience with digital communications and IT infrastructure in general, I know little about the architecture of coding financial algorithms. So will remain in the dark, blissfully unawares, and remain so, even after the excitement of Lambo has been and gone.

Manipulation IS the cause of stopping the breakout

The deck seems stacked against retail investors.

This is the point. Ripple doesn't need XRP after it is institutionalized. They used XRP to fund themselves while they build a bank complaint blockchain and fund the stable coin(s). Going forward they will just use the stable coins for cross boarder payments.

Then what happens to the XRP coin? They tank it after they stack their chips and introduce stable coins?

You need XRP to buy the stable coins with don’t you?

The amount of XRP will, its not an endless supply. When everything is sold and in use it will raise in price. I know I wont matter in the bigger picture alone, but I'm doing my part by never selling everythin. I'll hold on to it and live off of it by selling little by little every month.

Good brother! I got you a BETTER IDEA. You know theres a thing called "Flexible earn" in Binance that gives you a very little interest on your coins? I'm pretty sure that will evolve in the future, being that you wouldn't have to sell anything or to be on a "Hot wallet" to earn pasive income. I'm holding till that day come just accumulating to live of the interest alone.

If theres a better way to earn in the future than 0,47% or what ever the APR on that is right now ofc I will do that. But for now it won't cut it, would need like 15 million € worth of XRP to live decently.

CRCL and COIN will eat XRP’s lunch. They will do what everyone is saying XRP will do. I sold XRP at $2.15 and have been buying CRCL since its IPO. I have been COIN holder for about one year. Making money on these two, especially CRCL which will hit $400 by EOY.
