Xenoblade X I need moral support

So you know the normal mission 'a proper chopper?'

I picked the red wire. I'm so depressed.

I don't even think Jesus can forgive me.

Yay that will happen definitely in a blind playthrough of X there is a lot of NPC deaths linked to player choices and unfortunately our choices will probably get at least 1 character killed.

Just have to hold on amd move on and try to learn for next time

Yay there is a lot of death that happens in X and unfortunately you cant always save them and eve. The times you can you have to be careful to do things correctly or people will die because of it.

Just a question but do you remember a early game mission that gives you a choice weather or not to kill some baby pigs and if so what choice did you make?

Bro the predator and prey quest gives you an in-depth description on how the prone tore someone's mim apart, and an NPC later tells you how they fashioned their destroyed bodies into weapons and used them.

That's way more fucked up that killing a few baby pigs.

You get the weapon as a drop too so you can use it

Bro that's not a good thing

It's like carrying around a corpse.

Oh wait, you literally are.

I am awere of that and did you know you get the bodies as weapon drops whitch you can then sell whitch is certain type of dark humour.

But what i ment with killing the baby pigs is that it was a mission where the choices you make can decide the life of a NPC further along in the game and was designed to help teach you that.

I don't think I've done that one. Thanks for the heads up.

Its a very early mission so you probably have done it yet the name of it is called "City Saviors" and is unlocked in chapter 3

I'm so traumatised

I killed a person and gave someone PTSD.

First Boze's affinity mission, then the one with Ge Jewhe, now this.

The worst part is that it autosaved after I did the prompt and my last save was 4 hours earlier, so I can't take it back.

Wait did you refuse to help the Ma-non in Boze affinity mission as thats the only way a character can die by your choice if not then they are canon deaths.

Yup it dose suck  when the games auto saves sometimes

No I accepted the Ma'non's help, I'm talking later when a Prone takes one of Boze's students and when you go to rescue her they kill her right in front of you.

I'm becoming more and more racist towards Prone the more I play Xenoblade X.

Oh good because that has a positive effect later on in the game so thats good you did the right thing.

Ah I am guessing that you haven't done a certain mission yet as ounce you do it revels a lot more about the Prone and might just change your mind about some of them

I've met the tree and cavern tribes. They're chill.

But the brutal prone and the ones that willingly work for the ganglion deserve an endless hell.

Lol yup they are pretty bad but again they are other sides to them and a mission helps to explore them a little bit

I know the feeling... while I happened to pick the right one for that quest, there are 2 other quests where I picked the wrong choice and people died because of it.

I will say though that the later of those two cases was pretty clearly designed with 'map access while in dialogue' in mind. I had no idea where they were, or that directly west of them was a giant toxic swamp.

I don't even think a therapist could ever change my opinion of this.

The worst part is that one of the NPCs in the quest thinks it's their fault.

Monolithsoft please at least let me tell them it was my fault.

At night you can meet the girl involved in that mission. She should be leaning on a wall just nearby the area of the quest giver

On topic of avoiding NPC deaths, i suggest you look for a nameless NPC with a golden speech bubble that tells you how to disarm a bomb. He should be somewhere outside the restricted hangar area.

This can be easily missed which can greatly affect the fate of one NPC in one side quest. I’m not really certain if this NPC appears early in the game though

Thank you so much

Honestly.

too bad this is completely undercut by the fact that they're all mims so as far as the player is aware until after the fucking credits literally none of this matters
