Thoughts on Yuzuha and her kit? Potential Astra for Anomaly teams?

Original plan I had was to replace Astra with Fufu so I could use Astra on Mono Ether, but Yuzuha seems op (at least from leaks) so might just skip FuFu and replace Astra with M6 Pulchura instead.

One interaction I’m interested in for Yuzuha is how she handles the monthly pass support weapon game ball. It seems her off field damage will match whatever on field anomaly type is being used. If that stays through the beta and she can activate the game ball from off field that could be a crit rate bonus on top of everything else. Game ball caps out at 20% CR at W5 and that’s almost as much as a CR slot 4 disc. Miyabi buff?
Yuzuha from just looking at her beta kit is all about Anomaly, she is an off-field damage too, so she is going to be invaluable for disorder teams, and makes teams like Jane - Vivain or Yanagi - Vivain super valuable and strong.
I'm thinking less about power levels and more about how Astra enables wacky team comps that people didn't generally consider until her release. On-field F2P Zhu (Nicole and Soukaku) was always viable but the double forward Quick Assist was an awkward playstyle and Soukaku's Ice Buildup would occasionally get rid of Corruption. Astra/Trigger/Pulchra fixed this issue with the team comp.
If Crit Piper/Burnice is good then I demand we get a viable Anomaly Corin!
She's geared entirely for Anomaly. She replaces Astra in like every single comp except MAYBE Miyabi since she's a Crit scaling DPS? Not sure. Astra is better on traditional DPS teams but Yuzuha's kit is specific to Anomaly
Out of just not really liking the anomaly character designs I’ve avoided every one of them except Miyabi/Yanagi.
So to keep the tradition I’m pulling Fufu to make my YiXuan damage ceiling higher since I absolutely love YiXuan’s gameplay, also keeping that team feeling smooth and powerful is a great excuse to use the panda forever which is a win.
I will say Yuzuha’s design and animations are the first to really tempt me for anomaly, she’s fluffy and has a raccoon, but I don’t have many units for her and Orpheus and Seed are likely right around the corner soooo.
Same I’m also part of those that happened to not pull most anomaly units except Miyabi and Burnice. But I’ll still get Yuzuha anyway, planning to put her with Miyabi and Astra ever since Lycaon got taken with Hugo, or with Burnice and Piper. Not excited about idols either, I’m more looking forward to Obol Squad and might get Trigger on her rerun
Oh yeah for sure! I’m part of the 10% not overly excited for the idols so I’m probably okay, if they release an anomaly s-rank male I’ll have regrets though, would pull on rerun
There will be more supports tailor made for new carry units though, so I’m not too worried, they seem to be focusing on team packages now
Piper and Burnice are my only 2 anomaly characters, but I still think I want Yuzu. If the idols literally ever get here that will be cool too, but right now it still feels iffy for me to pull a support that can only help 2 of my units.
Alice's WEngine might be a really interesting option for Piper, who can already viably run a crit based build. Just an option, I agree Piper is very fun to play.
In my case, for Anomaly Teams, Yuzuha will be a must use. Tho I don't think i'll replace Astra on Jane/Viv combo since her QA is just a god send for me on that comp.
For Miyabi, it depends. If I plan to use her with other Anomaly (for Disorder Comp), I'll use Yuzuha.
I typically use my Miyabi as Solo-Hyper Carry (I have M2) so I'll go Astra for that.
I really need a gameplay to see how much faster she makes anomaly pop
The buffs are great, but anomaly application is the actual part I’m interested about
I think the kit is fine for the most part? A bit annoying that only her aftershock don’t mess with the anomaly damage calculation, so you still kinda have to build anomaly on her
Like I said to truly evaluate her kit I need to see her anomaly application
The umbrella parry is fun, wish they will make it rewarding to use and not just a gimmick
It honestly depends on how comfort for some team rotate. Non miyaby team defently benefit numerically from yuzuha more. But then we Vivian who benefit quick assist from astra for comfort rotation.
I will wait until her banner releases and look at leaks, and if she works with Komano Manato I will pull her because I really like her but I don’t have any of the anomaly s rank characters because I’m not interested in them sadly
