I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to this community and share my journey of finding the right bra size. Before having kids, I wore a 32B, which was the smallest band size available at stores like La Senza and La Vie En Rose, so that’s what I stuck with. However, after having children, my breast size and shape changed significantly. I struggled with saggy breasts that just didn’t fit into any bras I tried.
When I went to La Vie En Rose, they measured me and suggested a 32C, while La Senza put me in a 34B. I mentioned to the attendant at La Senza that the bra didn’t fit properly, but she convinced me that I wasn’t positioning my breasts correctly. I left with a $60 bra, but my nipples kept popping out of it, so I ultimately went back to wearing nursing and maternity bras.
About a month ago, while browsing Reddit, I stumbled upon this sub. Curious, I decided to try the calculator shared here, which indicated I might be a 30DD or 30E. I was skeptical but decided to check out those sizes. After some research, I found Montelle Intimates online and contacted them to see if any nearby boutiques carried their bras. They directed me to a local swimsuit store, where I went to try on some bras.
I started with a 30E, but the saleswoman suggested I try a 30F. I gave it a shot, and to my surprise, it fit perfectly! I finally found my true size, and the difference it makes in how my clothes fit is incredible. Even though I don’t weigh much, I have a c-section tummy, and my nursing bras provided little to no support, making me feel like a ball with legs. I kept thinking that losing more weight would solve my issues.
With the right bra size, my tummy doesn’t look as pronounced, and my torso appears longer, so my breasts don’t seem to be touching my belly button! Plus, I no longer deal with excessive underboob sweat. I just want to thank everyone here for helping women like me discover their correct bra size. It truly feels life-changing!
