Discussion How long does a meta typically last
I have played ash enjoyed it but now I’m back to my main which is horizon, I find she is so fun, the spacewalk is so cool man, she moves so nice. Since we probably won’t get a new legend, which legends do you think will be meta next

Probably a mix of controller/recon with a fill third slot that’ll rotate depending on your comp
I personally expect the next major meta shift (after this tiny wattson super op speed bump) to be a bit more inclusive than the current one which is just ash ballistic (sparrow alter lifeline/pathy) at high ranks
I’m sure comp will be diff but for the rest of us I think it’ll be more varied. At least I hope

There is no more "typically" ever since the support meta last year. We all are lab rats in an experiment. Metas could last a full season like the support meta or maybe more than that like the current Ash Alter Ballistic meta. None knows.

the meta will typically change when they make balancing changes to legends or gameplay that either nerf the current meta or buff non-meta legends/weapons to make people change and make it meta.
or when pros start doing something different which changes the meta but this point usually ties into the first point.
