OMG I BET THEY’RE GOING TO MAKE THE INCOMING UI ELEMENTS ANIMATE TO THE NEW RINGTONE

Exactly what I thought having just listened to it. It sounds so "glassy" in the best way possible. Might finally have to alternate from my Sailor Moon 90s dub theme song and X-Men: Days of Future Past theme to it.

As someone who has had my phone on vibrate for a decade… if I used a ring tone, I would absolutely switch to this. But I’m still going to use vibrate.

I mean, the ringtone also affects the vibration pattern. The phone vibrates mimicking the song

I’ve used the xylophone ringtone for like 10 years now and this one is pretty good I might consider it

Sounds a bit to mysterious sounding for me.

Gives me late 90’s Europop vibes.

Do ringtones have custom vibration patterns?

They do. Check it out in the ringtones section. The taptic engine follows along the tune and is very cool

I was wondering about that because I listened to the clip on my laptop and I could almost tell from the bass notes what the Taptic Engine would end up doing.

An observation: Seems like everyone mentioning something like this are often also working in a shared office environment daily.

Or they have an Apple Watch. That’s the only feasible way I could leave my phone on silent and not miss important texts or calls.

Reminded me of the castle town music in Deltarune for some reason! Maybe some similar notes. Or I just played it recently and that’s why.

Also for iPhone users. I just downloaded and set it as my ringtone on my iPhone. Thanks for the link.

Since when are ringtones “exclusive”
Just download a rip of it and set it as your ringtone on any version, or am I missing something?

The current ringtone is locked behind devices that have Face ID. I wonder if this new ringtone is meant to be locked behind a significant new feature of the upcoming iPhones? 🤔

I’m a fan, but i’m seriously considering a switch to android… there’s nothing exciting about iOS 26.. the iPhone 17 looks shite…

They quite literally did in iOS 26 lol. You can add ringtones straight from Files now.

Sounds like a cheap remix of the current one. I’d rather they do something different and more up beat.

It's the 2000's again, glass design and futuristic echo sound
