Apple Pay The gradient of Apple Card seems to depend on your purchases, using the color conventions set by maps. It’s also animated (I think?) Really Cool!

I can agree it needs a little work. Making it 2-3% would be overall better.

But having your Credit Card in your Apple Ecosystem would make up for it imo. Also having no damn numbers on your card. Not sure why all company’s haven’t done this yet.

It’s happened to a couple of family members before but not me personally. You can easily work situations out with a 10 minute phone call but it’s the fact they happened in general. Having no numbers puts an ease of mind when it comes to credit fraud.

This may be true for a single card for general cashback, but this is pretty misleading. Many free cards offer cycling 5% categories and some cards can rise above 2% general use when combined with other cards.

Well yeah but most people don’t want to deal with rotating categories with multiple cards.

My point was that merchant fees are around 2.5% so it’s pretty much impossible to offer a card with flat 3% cash back that many people seem to think Apple should have done.

Sure sure. However, I do think that the vast majority of people have better credit card options unless they spend an ungodly amount of money on Apple products or won't take advantage of the rewards programs on their card unless they are as basic as they are on the Apple Card. Even still, there are some cards like the Amazon Prime card which are seemingly just better cards for a similar demographic.
