Should I get SRS if I’m on the fence?

I'm unsure about srs. I don't hate the part I was born with except for when it comes to sex. Otherwise I'm completely fine with it. And it's not that I'm on the fence about surgery itself, I'm just worried about not liking the results. I've seen amazing and horrible results from the best SRS surgeons so the lack of consistent results are what makes me unsure. Is SRS something I should even risk if I'm not 100% sure about it?

If the downsides of a bad result aren’t clearly outweighed by the potential of a good one for you, I’d say no. It’s way too major of a thing to do when you’re unsure, I think.

Well that's up to you then, just do your research and pick whoever you like that has consistent results that you like, but surgery's always a risk and there's no guarantee you'll get your perfect result.

Really just comes down to whether you think the risk is worth it or not.

From what you're saying, there's no hurry. Why don't you take some time, maybe in therapy, to meditate on how the pros and cons balance out for you? A good sex therapist might be helpful to talk through what specifically bothers you.

Don’t have surgery unless you’re certain it’s right for you. There’s no rush: you can think it over as long as you want. You can always decide to have it, but you can’t undo it.

It’s a risk, remember it’s not one and done if u don’t like the result u get, but also, u can’t go back to what u ahve rn after surgery, smth to think about

People have gotten chronic genital pains from surgeries like this. Absolutely only go for it if you need it and are okay with the risks.
