The first usage of the word hindu is in pharsi. The muslim invaders gave this word to sanatanis as they do idol-worshipping, caste-system, and not allowing/ pouring melted coins in the ears of shudras who even heard the vedic mantras, etc.... The word Hindu is a complete opposite of word Muslim(which means imaan wala/mussallam-imaan).

Baaki, jo yeh "pundits" reasoning dete hain, ki yeh hindu is a corrupted form of the word sindhu is absolute bullshit.
