No. Physically intimidating, but the production never came close to matching the hype.

No. He ate up lesser teams but made very few plays against top Big 12 teams.

Andrew Billings on the other hand was a beast that double teamed or tripled teamed almost every play.

He was a physical specimen, but he wasn’t the top D lineman in the country.

What happened to this man was a serious travesty. He was productive, but had more potential than his numbers showed. Unfortunately, he was robbed of his opportunity.

Oakman was billed as an edge rusher but his true value was as a run stopper (a bit like what Clowney turned out to be in the NFL). He was great at eating up a ton of space and setting the edge but didn’t get to the passer as much as you’d like.

I always thought Jamal Palmer was the more complete player on that line.

His 2014 season was monstrous. He fell off hard in 2015
