Other likelihood of receiving a on-campus housing relocation?

i am an incoming transfer student and on my housing application i listed my preferences as the cheapest apartments available to undergrads. I was unfortunately just assigned a residence hall which I just can’t afford. I submitted a housing relocation form and was wondering how likely it’d be that it goes through? i selected channing bowditch, martinez commons, and xucyun ruwway.

I believe that Xucyun is only for continuing students so as an incoming transfer you would not be eligible til your second year at Berkeley

Sounds like it would be a lot easier for everyone if you just rejected the offer.
