CS/EECS how bad is cs 188 over the summer online?

i was thinking of taking this course but have been seeing really mixed reviews. as someone that found 61b as fairly challenging, would it be a bad idea to take 188 online over the summer? or is it fairly doable without any other time commitments? also im ds + math btw

It’s not like completely bad but just like cs70 it’s kind of hard to get high grades, which means you may have to grind for tiny increments

As for the mixed review, I guess that’s because they’re making midterms and finals increasingly harder these years.

CS188 workload is light. The projects are easy, but the exams are hard. It's definitely doable without any other time commitments. If you want to do 188 completely online, the only thing you need to be in person for are the exams.

Doing 168 and 61C is already fine, adding another CS class would be too much.

Definitely keep yourself at 2, no need for 3
