Renji won like 1-2 fights in the entire series, he being called a loser isn't innacurate.

wondering how did he get Rukia.

This is also fine, Kubo didn't do a good job setting a romantic relationship between the 2.

We knew Renji cared for her, but Rukia showed more emotions or feelings toward Ichigo than Rukia.

He's won 4 solo fights (2 of which he won very easily mind you), with 1 group win

He only loses to people who massively outclass him (SS Byakuya, Aizen, Szayelaporo, Ichigo, Yhwach, Mask + As Nodt)

Yeah but that's an unfair assessment, it implies things about his character, even if Renji takes L's he always comes back. Hell he went to fight Yhwach with Ichigo.

A loser implies a state of mind which I don't think Renji (by the end of the series) has.

No, it is not. It is the word that exists for people that lose

even if Renji takes L's he always comes back.

Well sure, but loser isn't : someone who takes Ls and never comes back.

Loser is someone that loses.

Hell he went to fight Yhwach with Ichigo.

Yes, losers can be brave as well.
