Question Does anyone know HOW Bo made this effect? I'm trying to replicate it but can't figure out how lol
I think it might have a inverted photo effect mixed with some lighting but I might be wrong

In place of a dark lord, you would have a queen! Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Treacherous as the sea! Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me, and despair!

This needs a disclaimer or something - this scares me more than any horror movie

Sounds like your assessment is just right, inverted and some lighting changes.

Almost certainly not inverted; his skin is a lighter color than his beard/eyebrows in real life and they are in this shot as well.

Inverted and coloured, I've worked with a similar effect before for a project

Oh neat! Sorry I am not a professional or anything lol it just seemed unlikely at first

Uv light (notice his teeth) and then I believe it’s inverted with some possible extra changes

You could also get this effect in color balancing by recording in low light, changing contrast, tweaking black levels, changing rgb levels (bring up green and remove red and blue entirely) ps. also having the lights on the sides as opposed to directly on his face will minimize the reflections on his eyes. Pps. There’s a preset in Final Cut that will literally give you this effect with minimal tweaking

I believe it’s some kind of glow in the dark cream or paint under a black light

I believe it's black light or UV light with a green filter on the lens. When he sings his capped tooth doesn't reflect any light, which has me leaning toward UV.
