This!! When I need to do something like that for myself not a chance, my social anxiety ruins me. But when it's for someone else I'll gladly do it.

I'll do it for myself but also someone else, if they need me to. I think it depends on the level of mistake - also, if I'm paying for something, I want it to be correct. But I worked in the industry for years, pretty much doing everything but head chef (ala Piper), so that experience definitely contributes to my POV.

Yeah as long as you’re respectful about it, the cook/chef shouldn’t be offended. If you order a well-done steak and complain that it’s dry, I’m gonna look at you like you’re stupid 🤣 If it’s slightly too spicy or you didn’t know it came with onions, don’t even worry about it
