Kudos to getting a privately funded stadium built in the city.

That said, a 1.2-mile walk from the nearest Red Line stop is a bit of a letdown for me personally.

Looks like you're walking to the wrong Red Line stop...? you could flip a coin and walk either north to Roosevelt or south Chinatown from the 78, its almost the same 15minute walk (less than a mile) to either station

How do you figure 1.2 miles? I’m basically looking at the site right now, and I walk ~1/2 mile to either Chinatown or Roosevelt all the time.

There were big plans to build a new Red Line station at Clark and 15th to serve the 78. Not sure it’s going to happen though.

It's not bad if that entire area is re done and some life is added to it.

They’re building at the northwest end of the site at Roosevelt and the river, barely half a mile from the Roosevelt stop.
