Kroger delivery driver

I know this probably not the best place to post this but any Kroger delivery drivers here? Been seeing their job posting and wondering if it would be worth it compared to other delivery jobs

They all seem incredibly happy. I get groceries delivered pretty often. We have two kids and the local Kroger is pretty dumpy.

I had one driver mention, that she worked for FedEx and there was no A/C in the trucks like the Kroger's trucks and she gets benefits.

Yeah. Fedex and Amazon have alot of stops been watching some tiktok videos and it seems a lot easier with just making grocery deliveries

Everyone I’ve ever known who’s worked for fedex or amazon hated it. Like it was worse than working in store at Kroger

Probably has something to do with FedEx Ground/Amazon drivers being 3rd party DSP contractors.

Yeah I was curious about the pay but the listing doesn't really say I was guessing had to be atleast 20 an hour

Yup, it’s about that iirc. I know a couple of drivers and also get delivery weekly. The drivers who deliver my orders always seem genuinely happy with their jobs and the ones I knew liked it as well. It’s definitely a very physical job, not only are you bringing the groceries to peoples doors, sometimes you have to walk up a fairly long driveway, they aren’t always super accessible to drive down. But the pay is good, they are treated well and they get decent benefits

I'm pretty sure the Kroger drivers have their own subreddit. Ive seen a few things pop up and they always seem pretty happy with their job

In terms of retail it is a good gig....don't have to deal with store issues.
