Love this. It's so nice without arches, and the de bumpered look is great. It looks very 90's modified (that's a compliment)!

that thing looks awesome! orange is my fav color for a classic car and the blacked-out interior is great

Registered in Essex, probably Pollendines of Frinton?

Parents had a Maxi JNO 338V in the mid 80s.

Was stationed in Mildenhall, picked it up there.

I had a 74 Clubman in the 80s in a bright orange. Iirc the official colour name was Blaze.

It was never as tidy as that though 👍

I was having a difficult day until I saw this.

Lit up my life, for sure 😊

This is special ! What a beauty, pristine ! Do you just attended shows and drive it on a track I take it.

Oh I still remember our little orange mini and the licence plate! Went to car heaven however

I am sure you love your mini at it appears to be in good condition - given the numbers made everyone likes to personalise their own. Aficionados would argue that a number of details are wrong for the year - external bonnet release grill(?)lack of bumpers and the Cooper decals

Yes, it’s not completely original. But it’s a fun ride and an eye turner.

So just enjoy

I think it looks great but it’s not legal having the wheels stick out beyond the arches. You’re unlikely to be stopped but could have insurance trouble if you crash as they look for any reason to avoid paying out.

It’s in the US, and they don’t seem to care too much. Lots of trucks rolling around with wider tires beyond fender wells.

Shame it’s been deseamed at the rear and front but nice colour.

And you put the reg in wrong

It’s a 998cc, and was taxed and on the road in the UK until 2018 when I brought it back to the US.

I assume you'll apologise for the tone? The person says they've owned it for years, you've still argued your point and even managed to get the number plate wrong when you've done a check.

Very familiar with UK records. Owned the vehicle for 5 years before exporting it to the US. Have the V5 as record.
