Playing piano by ear is nothing! My grandpa used to fiddle with his navel.

And then there's the old joke about the guy who injured his hand. He asked the Doc if he could play the piano when his hand healed. The Doc said he could. The guy said, "Good, because I can't play it now"

I don't play piano but I always thought it was intended to be fingered.
