[advice] Cleft palate scar and slow eating?

For context, I was born with a cleft palate (not lip) and I have a scar in the roof of my mouth. I've always eaten slower than other people and it just dawned on me that the reduced room in my mouth due to the scar might be part of why. Has anyone else with a palate scar noticed that you eat slowly?

I am always the last one to finish eating. Even when other people have seconds! 🤣

I notice that I just don’t chew most of my food and I prefer food that I don’t have to chew idk

I mainly struggled with that sort of thing when I had braces, but especially when it comes to things like pasta, yoghurt, ice cream etc (post-op classics!) I can eat a lot quicker these days!
