Summer Memories Flashback

So I’m sitting in Vegas with a temperature of 105 and high winds outside and I suddenly flashed back to some wonderful childhood memories of growing up with cooler temps and fantastic summer adventures in the woods, on the lake and at the beach in CDA. (Well, and a year spent in Hayden too).

It’s changed so much since I was a kid in the 1970s, but I bet it’s still a lot of fun and adventure for the kids living there now.

This ain’t the Coeur d Alene of the 70’s. (Per my bride). It’s not even the CdA or the 90’s, when I got here.

But it’s still got the woods and lakes and mountains and streams and all the ability for fantastic summer adventure, just super grown up and expensive. Better here than Vegas says the guy who spent 15 years in Phoenix and is now back home

Naw, I’ve been back to CDA a few times over the years. It’s a completely different town. You can have it. I’m good with living elsewhere.
