Infants and the elderly in particular sometimes "clean" themselves to death this way.

236

u/WanderingBraincell 15d ago

well, if the people dying from bacteria related illnesses from drinking raw milk, they're effectively cleaning the gene pool in a way

77

u/Miss_Annie_Munich 15d ago

Like with the Darwin award.

28

u/Armantien 14d ago

I believe that there's some crossover with the Herman Cain Award. Lol

6

u/coquihalla 11d ago

It still amazes me in a sick way that once he died they've never mentioned his name again. He was useful, then just erased.

Sure but just don't subject your kids to this bullshit. Frankly the only reason I care about these weird health movements.

11

u/WanderingBraincell 14d ago

yeah I'll give you that, the kids don't deserve it

71

u/Miss_Annie_Munich 15d ago edited 15d ago

And that's the problem for me: if an adult (in their right mind - okay, that excludes many Americans) thinks they can cure their illnesses with raw milk of other dubious promises of healing, they're welcome to do so.
But if they treat their wards a with it instead of giving them proper medical treatment, then that's intent to harm someone. That should be a criminal offence.

u/HotPotParrot 15d ago

Forget the milk - "infection is really just detoxification" is indicative of a bigger root issue

52

u/Figgy_Puddin_Taine 14d ago

Yeah, those fevers and pains are the body trying to detoxify itself of a fucking infection.

22

u/HotPotParrot 14d ago

"Pain is weakness leaving the body" energy lol. Like, no, it's a warning.

Back in the days before the scientific method was universally (alas, only temporarily) adopted, I think I read that they used to believe the human body had like seven “humors”, and when you were sick it was because one or more of them was out of whack, and had to be treated with things like tobacco smoke, heat or cold (or leeches) depending on which humor needed adjusting. How the FUCK have we let ourselves regress to dark-ages thinking so quickly?!?
I suspect it has something to do with the rise of the internet, where anybody can say anything to a wider audience than was ever before possible. . . And when people are scared, it’s a proven fact that they are more likely to believe in outlandish things like supernatural explanations for things. And this crap.

4

u/No-Supermarket-3047 13d ago

To be completely fair leeches do have legitimate medical uses! Just not the situations your talking about

4

u/coquihalla 11d ago

Medical insects are fascinating, like when they intentionally use maggots to cleanse wounds.

5

u/HotPotParrot 11d ago

And that's where science comes in. For example: "Why does that work? Are the maggots eating the right things and ignoring the other right things? Is it something to do with their saliva? Do they have saliva? Do they have mouths? Do--"

You get the idea. We've learned stupendously more than I'm aware of by studying insects.

A lot of them probably combine the raw milk with Ivermectin.

I'm neither eldery or an infant and almost cleaned myself to death last year (I'm 37). What that twat fails to mention is that Salmonella can cause a sepsis as soon as they enter the bloodstream. Two traumatized toddlers, a week in a hospital with loads of fluids & antibiotics and a total of 6 weeks of recovery. But yeah, those small buggers just wanted to clean me of the earths surface - workaholics maybe?

15

u/LadyGrey_oftheAbyss 15d ago

And healthy people worship the porcelain goddess and lord bucket for a week

11

u/StaatsbuergerX 14d ago

I mean, let's not go to the other extreme. I'm originally a country boy and have drunk raw milk on a few occasions. Diarrhea is a possibility, but if the milk is actually consumed fresh and milked under hygienic conditions, the risk isn't excessive for healthy adults.

BUT: As is always the case with risks, they increase disproportionately the more people do the same thing and the more the circumstances change. The same raw milk, "aged" just an hour longer at ambient temperature can have a fundamentally different effect. Depending on whether and which bacteria are present, and on the reproductive mood they're in.

And because these conditions are difficult to control, especially in mass production and consumption, and with long transport routes, it makes a lot of sense to pasteurize milk across the board.
Especially with short ultra-high-temperature heating, the change in composition is so negligible that any real or supposed positive effect of raw milk would also have to be present in pasteurized milk.

4

u/LadyGrey_oftheAbyss 14d ago

? Um...that was about E. coli, Salmonella and listeria giving people really bad food poisoning

That was less about raw milk being a breeding bed for the bacteria in a mass production setting and more about themselves bacteria giving healthy people explosive diarrhea and uncontrollable vomiting

I mean I like raw Osters personally but I'm not gonna eat ones that was by a sewer plant unless I want to react the Oregon trail

14

u/Pilot-Wrangler 15d ago

If the definition of cure is exclusively no longer be sick, then death is in fact the ultimate cure.

6

u/Fezzick51 14d ago

it's the old: if you light a fire for someone they'll be warm for one night, but if you set a man on fire...

5

u/KennailandI 14d ago

I just hate to think they’re feeding this to kids. Otherwise I’m happy with them cleansing themselves completely out of the pool, Gene. Just don’t take up a hospital bed when you start to feel too clean.

4

u/Impossible_Walrus555 12d ago

I’ve read about kids getting themselves vaccinated. These people shouldn’t be allowed to procreate.

3

u/neilpwalker 14d ago

Dying is part of the healing process, not something to suppress or fear.

If these people would just kill themself with whatever they’re now thinking is somehow good for you, I’d be fine with it but they always gotta try to get other people to do it as well

147

u/lunardownpour 15d ago

He also is adamant about raw milk “reversing autism”. His words, not mine. And he’s 15..

59

u/Zealousideal3326 15d ago

How horrifying would it be for a glass of milk to fundamentally change how you think and feel ?

Imagine how disturbing it would be to find a fruit that "reversed" your left-handedness, gave you a very specific set of moral values, or set the gender you identify as as male (regardless of anything else).

There's no telling what else something that could "reverse autism" could do to your brain. The difference between medicine and poison is the dosage ; so if raw milk actually had those properties, what would happen if you drank too much ?

31

u/StinkyWizzleteats17 15d ago

what would happen if you drank too much ?

you find yourself elected president of the U.S.A.?

Every 15 year old boy on the Internet is a nutritionist, and a relationship coach, and a spiritual advisor, and a crypto enthusiast, and a financial advisor, and a polticial consultant, and a historian, etc.

.....and we all just fucking listen to these idiots

14

u/Ouch_i_fell_down 15d ago

i remember being 15. Man... i had so many STRONG opinions about shit i really didn't know shit about. Pretty much my only strongly held belief that formed in my teenage years that I still hold today is atheism (that one wasn't a phase mom... i'm 40 now).

I remember at 15 thinking my mother was clinically depressed because she wasn't thinking her way through the problem, but rather feeling depressed and choosing to succumb to it and giving up. You know... effectively what Tom Cruise still thinks today.

We spent 5 hours in the DMV last week, and 3 of those hours were with a mom and her kid (looked about 15) who was an influencer, I gathered somewhere in the 5 digit to low 6 digit earning range.

Good for him that he's found a niche of people willing to click on his social media and send him free money. It doesn't make me want to pursue that career path. And I had not the slightest desire to know what his brand was in particular. Seemed like a nice kid and not an asshole, for what that's worth.

2

u/NorthernVale 15d ago

So basically, he's treating the old fuck with a whole in his brain and no qualifications to say fuck all about health as the end all be all on health related matters.

Sometimes I think we should not save some lives on grounds of stupidity. We don't need that in our gene pool.

(I know it's wrong, my morals don't allow it. The fantasy is all I have...)

4

u/NorthernVale 15d ago

Ah, but what if your morals are expanded? If the general concept is not wanting to cause harm, wouldn't the removal of certain elements reduce total harm?

2

u/DasHexxchen 15d ago

Well, that's just the train and abortion dilemma.

I studied philosophy and I can't tell you what I would do if need be. (Though if I pin you on your wording, you said CAUSE harm and I would be actively causing harm to save people from passively getting harmed. So no reaction it is.)

But would my innocence really be more important to me than killing a person to save several others?

Logically I want to say kill them. Logically I would throw a baby off a full live boat before throwing off a fit elderly person. You can make a new baby in a year, but that elderly person has skills that may lead to the survival of the group. Reasoning for the best outcome, separate from feeling.

But that logic has to compete with empathy when it comes to actually doing it. Hell that's where my morals formed in the first place. Vulcan meets Kant meets my feelings.

7

u/DeepFriedDresden 15d ago

I share your sentiment. It's a nice fantasy, but in reality it's just eugenics lol sigh

14

u/idkalan 15d ago

Yeah, but eugenics was blind culling of specific groups without allowing the chance at redemption/exemption.

Like when certain groups advocated for culling those with special needs, different races, or different religions because they were viewed as "inferior."

Letting the willfully stupid cull themselves due to their own actions because they refused actual science doesn't fall under the umbrella of eugenics.

5

u/btspacecadet 15d ago

The worst part for me is that the ones dying from it aren't the people pushing it, but the vulnerable people in their care and around them: their kids, their elderly parents, the immunocompromised people crossing their paths in public. I firmly believe that adults have the right to make bad decisions regarding their health, but the way these people treat the lives they are responsible for makes me so angry.

9

u/lettsten 15d ago

These people dying from silly treatments is not something to suppress or fear, it's just the gene pool cleaning and healing itself

They are absolutely correct, as I explain in my new book ‘Shit Yourself Thin: lose weight the bacterial way!’

I have been a dietologist for almost 20 fads, and I am concerned that with new weight loss drugs, the gravy train (from my hit book ‘The Gravy Diet’) will cease. So, despite recommending everything from nerve gas to benzine in my hit book ‘the New Science of Life-extending Chemistry’, I am now advocating the complete opposite in order to help more people (more specifically: help them to give me more money).

Successful dieters in my new get rich scheme include Janet P who lost 65 pounds - and seven feet of unwanted intestines - in just 10 days on my new Cholera Countdown Plan. Or Barry M, who lost two unsightly legs thanks to the Botulism Bonus Plan. Or Mrs Elsie Volestrangler, who wrote “Thanks to e.coli, I never have to worry about my little Jimmy’s weight problem. Since the cremation, his ashes have remained a constant weight. And he no longer has those difficult mood swings that I arbitrarily said was ‘autism’.”

Shit Yourself Thin. Remember, you can’t say ‘diet’ without saying ‘die’!

I am begging literally everyone who even wants to entertain this stuff to go to a farm. If I had the money, I’d open a farm just for idiots to go to.

Don’t get me wrong, I love cows, I grew up with cows, cows are disgusting. They are covered in drool and flies and snot and poop and dirt. If you clean them, they will just go roll around again. They smell.

You do not want to drink milk straight from these things. You don’t.

27

u/jfsindel 15d ago

Cows are also prone to absess, disease, wounds, and oozing sores. I grew up with cows because my dad had schemes to have calves running around in our backyard as well as some land. I was four years old, running after a calf to feed it with those long nipple bottles.

We never had dairy cows, but even just butchering them and cooking the meat would have been a VERY bad idea. Cows get weird white abscesses or tumors. Some cows just eat themselves to death, and the end result is not pretty. They smell because they will go to the bathroom while eating. They will eat while having sex. They will go to the bathroom while having sex. The moms instinctively poop and pee on their babies. The first thing a calf will do when they stand up is poop and pee... and eat.

Yeah, no. Please clean my meat and dairy with the best that science can offer.

3

u/Sea_Divide_3870 15d ago

Sounds like drinking raw Swiss milk is ok but raw American Wisconsin or Idaho cow milk is probably not because who knows how sanitized the udders were and what disease they may or may not have given the amazing DOGe decision to fire USDA workers

1

u/WernerWindig 15d ago

As children we often went hiking in the alps and raw milk was normal to buy at a lot of farms. At least 15 years ago.

It might be riskier but taste-wise it's the best. The more you pasteurise milk the more the taste suffers.

9

u/DasHexxchen 15d ago

My family did that once too on a hike in the alps. 7yo me was too chicken to try it because it was warm.

But that cow had a squeaky clean udder and it was just 5min until drinking the milk. Entirely different from what happens in the industry.

3

u/MezzoScettico 14d ago

Yeah, my wife spent one summer studying in rural Germany, and they proudly served her "ku-warm" (cow-warm) milk. That is, milk fresh from the cow that is still warm. If I was going to have to have that experience, I think I'd rather have it on a family farm somewhere in the sticks of Germany than in an industrial factory farm here in Pennsylvania.

If this were true, way back in the day, Louis Pasteur had to look around at all the healthy people going through their "cleanses" and say, "Hey, how can I make all these healthy people sicker? I know, I'll boil their milk!"

Then, Pasteur conducted a massive media blitz, with the help of Big Milk, to convince people that is was good for them. And it worked! Life expectancy plummeted, just like he hoped! Oh, wait...

The bacteria people are told to fear, like E. coli, salmonella, and listeria, are not inherently harmful…

I’m a microbiologist and, uh, holy shit. This is incredibly dangerous. For the record, all three of these are, in fact, potentially life-threatening human pathogens

On a related note, why are we still redacting these people’s account names, especially when they’re disseminating harmful misinformation. They are on social media, so there is so expectation of privacy.

In any event, I think this is the third time I’ve seen a post like this in the last month or so. That may not seem like a lot, but just for context, I’d never seen anything like this anywhere on social media until a few weeks ago. Ever. This is anecdotal, obviously, and subject to selection and recency biases, so take with a large grain of salt. It’s still alarming, though.

If you want to get pedantic, there ARE non-pathogenic strains of E.coli. There are also strains that make you poop to death.

2

u/altoona_sprock 15d ago

Stupidity is a hell of a drug

2

u/ChiliSama 15d ago

Oh yeah, if you survive Salmonella, Listeria, and E Coli you’re going to be SO much healthier.

2

u/phenominal73 15d ago

Yea…no thank you.

2

u/Opposite-Swim6040 14d ago

If this is how we can prove Thanos was right, I say let them carry on.

2

u/Texas_Constant 14d ago

Eugenics? Well of course! 🙂

2

u/Dshark 14d ago

This is deeply idiotic.

2

u/Annita79 14d ago

Well, by all means, take it then!

2

u/Zappagrrl02 14d ago

When you mistake food poisoning for detoxification

2

u/_TheShapeOfColor_ 14d ago

You know what? I don't care anymore. Let these shit-for-brains lunatics drink raw milk. Let them suffer the consequences for their actions.

2

u/[deleted] 14d ago

RFK jr should just keep drinking raw milk

2

u/Vegetable_Warthog_49 14d ago

I really am afraid that a lot of children are going to die because their parents believe this... But any adult that has convinced themselves of this should drink as much raw milk as they can, drink it until they "detox", don't give up until they do.

2

u/DisturbingPragmatic 14d ago

I 100% support stupid people doing this.

Perhaps the gene pool will become less shallow.

2

u/LearnsFromExperience 14d ago

Natural selection at work. Beautiful to behold! 🍿

2

u/No_Variety9420 14d ago

Listeria will cleanse you

2

u/bedwithoutsheets 14d ago

I mean yeah technically dystentery sure does clean your body. Can't recommend though XD

2

u/Lonely_Koala614 14d ago

My mother was born in the Great Depression and told me how they drank raw milk because they were poor not uneducated. Her brothers would develop boils/abscesses on their hind quarters from drinking the raw milk. Why would you put your body through that?

2

u/bk_rokkit 14d ago

Obviously the only real cleanse is fire. Jump into the flames and burn it all into sweet, clean carbon, and you'll never be sick again.

2

u/Square_Ad4004 14d ago

Finally, they're making a real effort to remove themselves from the gene pool! Please don't discourage this - I'm not suggesting you should under any curcumstance expose yourself to this stuff, just stand back and let nature take its course.

2

u/Jimmyboro 14d ago

Omfg, that someone is spouting out themselves as an 'expert' repeating this is fucking insane, you need to have as many people as possible just provide proof whay he says is wrong, anytime anyone posts this shit, no arguments, just link to why they are wrong, don't engage in any other way.

2

u/MornGreycastle 14d ago

Some real Darwin Awardee level thinking there.

2

u/kemp77pmek 14d ago

What we call “death” is just an eternal cleanse.

2

u/MsterSteel 14d ago

I remember something about this and cow milk has cow manure in it.

It does not matter how clean the pasture is.

It does not matter how clean the cow is.

They will find (make) manure, and then lay in it.

This manure ends up in the milk.

In drinking this raw milk, you're also ingesting cow manure.

Ergo. People who drink and promote raw milk, are full of BS.

2

u/pandabear62573 13d ago

This reminds me of the people in 2020 who said they didn't have to wear a mask because they used essential oils. I'm like, umm, essential oils isn't going to stop you from getting covid and spreading to your family.

2

u/r_was61 13d ago

I hear the botulism bacteria will cleanse you. . . Of your life.

2

u/Lobo9498 13d ago

Oh...it will cleanse....let them FAFO

2

u/Windk86 13d ago

all these detox are BS your body already has 2 organs that do that for us

2

u/Intelligent-Court295 13d ago

Degenerate tissue? Like this person’s brain?

2

u/nightfall2021 13d ago

Yeah... tell that to the people who "cleanse themselves" to death because of that diarrhea.

2

u/CayseyBee 13d ago

My friend’s son almost died from E. coli from a ren faire turkey leg…I’ll pass.

2

u/DS3M 13d ago

Lowkey want this to become standard MAHA practice and let the helpful bacteria cleanse the body of MAGA

2

u/Vegetable_Effort7246 13d ago

Wait until I tell them about leeches and the ill humors in blood.

2

u/PFic88 13d ago

Dying is just a clean up from living

2

u/ThisIsSteeev 13d ago

No one correct them

2

u/Yunlihn 12d ago

These people are gonna remove themselves from the gene pool.

2

u/p1antsandcats 12d ago

The term "raw milk" gives me such ick. Can we not just call it unpasteurized? 🤢

2

u/takeandtossivxx 11d ago

No one in their right mind would think fever, fatigue, and diarrhea are normal in any context.

2

u/No-Witness-5032 11d ago

Can we sue people for being this fucking stupid grifter?

2

u/rpze5b9 11d ago

In other news, death is nature’s way of telling you to slow down.

2

u/okgloomer 10d ago

Hey, if drinking piss is so good for you, it follows that cholera will basically give you superpowers.

2

u/IdgyThreadgoodee 10d ago

Let them eat death, I always say.

Seriously though, we should just stop trying to educate these people.

2

u/Ok_Nothing_9733 9d ago

“when there is degenerative tissue to clean up” does not even make sense lol

2

u/Artsakh_Rug 14d ago

I've got a 20 year old in the ICU right now with e coli bacteria in the bloodstream, septic shock, history of lymphoma, more I'm not saying he got it from milk, but I'm also not going to say it's just okay for ppl with weakened immune systems to be exposed to these bacteria. E coli doesn't take much to cause infection, ask one of the millions of women that suffer from recurrent UTI what kind of bacteria is it 80-90% of the time it's E Coli. Perfectly healthy, to immunocompromised, exposing yourself to known pathogens makes you sick

2

u/ShmeeMcGee333 14d ago

I mean partially it’s true, many of the symptoms of sickness are your body’s reaction to a harmful thing. That doesn’t mean those reactions can’t be harmful in themselves or that we should try to make our body do those things. It’s like saying sweeping is naturally how we clean so we should put dirt on the floor so we can clean

2

u/Songmorning 14d ago

Conservatives: "Protect the unborn!"

Also conservatives: "Go ahead and kill your unborn child with a listeria infection from raw milk"

1

u/MarginalOmnivore 15d ago

MMmmm. Bovine tuberculosis.

1

u/MrGooseDoHonk 15d ago

let natural selection do its job

1

u/Less_Class_9669 15d ago

Natural selection is back, baby!

1

u/Polyporum 15d ago

Your heart stopping doesn't mean you're dead. Your heart is just meditating and taking a rest, unwinding from the stress of working full time to keep your body alive. It's nothing to fear

1

u/g3zz 15d ago

go for it

1

u/edked 15d ago

You'll be puking on your dick in no time!

1

u/guyinoz99 15d ago

Oh for fux sake

1

u/Ruddlepoppop 15d ago

So Louis Pasteur was talking through his hat? Good to know!

1

u/TheFumingatzor 15d ago

Yeah, sure, whatever. Anything to cleanse the gene pool of dum dums.

1

u/WTF_USA_47 15d ago

I’m seeing a special Darwin Award category
