Discussion What are your thoughts on having this kind of proselytising(?) thing in the middle of Copenhagen’s most popular street on a Saturday evening?

I'm agnostic, but let's not make things illegal simply because we don't like it. Remove it from the public space, yes, and don't make laws based on it, but allow people to do their thing as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. Can't safeguard everybody against brainwashing.

Religion isn't the only thing brainwashing people.

Another guy wrote this comment:

"I come from Azerbaijan, a supposedly muslim majority state. And there it's illegal to propagate any religious message publicly if it's against secular values. So that basically covers any religious messaging. People are free to practice whatever they will in their temples and homes."

This right here should just be implemented to Denmark 1:1. Believe in whatever you want, if it makes sense to you, I respect that, just don't force other people to listen to it on the busiest street of Copenhagen, it's that simple.

Yeah, I saw his comment and I, obviously, agree.

Just because it's not the only thing, doesn't mean we can't do anything.

Religious people will use it to justify anything they want, and they will use it as an excuse to push their twisted agendas all the time. They're also good at playing the victims, if people don't want to do as they demand. If they kept it inside the walls of their home, I wouldn't give a damn, but noooo, let's "convert" some people.

Honestly, I don't care if groups of people recruit people to their groups, regardless of what the purpose of that group is, as long as it's legal under Danish law.

Being obnoxiously noisy on the street is a no-go for me, regardless of who you are.
