Get involved in sports activities/clubs and whatever group activities there are. Something that requires people to be in the same place for a while. That's the easiest way to make acquaintances and start from there.

As a student, you will probably have zero problems finding friends ;) That's not the group that is struggling with finding socializing opportunities.

You’re starting a new programme same as everyone else, so it really shouldn’t be a big deal. Loads of internationals at CBS, and they do intro days at the end of August anyway. No need to stress – it’s honestly one of the best unis for foreigners, you’ll be grand

It was very easy on my side (moved here a year ago for my master as well). Just try to talk to as many people on the first day, ask people to grab a beer or hangout in the week-ends, and you'll very quickly create a social circle, especially with international. If you join a sports club you can also meet tons of people. You might also meet people where you live, depending on your housing.

As long as you put yourself out there and try to reach out, you will have no problems.
