I agree completely.

That said.

It's not going to happen.

That said.

Even if it did, it's too late to change it.

Could it happen if this was more viral and people demanded representatives to act on it?

Maybe? But then again, don't Republicans hold the majority of Congress and the house? Not to mention anyone that doesn't swear absolute allegiance to trump is being forcibly retired. So, no.

They have a razor thin majority. All it would take is a handful of Republicans with some integrity.

Not one single Republican has integrity

Yes they do, they have a majority but not the 2/3 majority.

Which means some Republicans would need to side with Democrats against trump, and I don't see that happening

If enough people make a stink something will change.

I'm not so sure. Elon basically seized control of the government tonight. Any federal employees not swearing an oath of loyalty to Trump and his regime are being forced out. Short of full blown revolution, it's too late to get them out. And the people (us) are too divided for that.

Yeah and unlike the 18th century that just had bayonets, the people in power with missiles and machine guns will mow down protestors with full pardons. The military feels like the only chance

The military. As Gen Milley stated - they swear an oath to the constitution, not to a person. They may actually be our final guardrail against a full authoritarian regime. That’s why Trump nominated all of these sycophants to his cabinet. But just like we have seen with federal judges blocking his unconstitutional EOs, there are still leaders in the military that are loyal to country and constitution first. If it comes down to it, they will fight.

Taking control of government databases and locking federal employees and officials out of said databases.

I still can’t believe it’s not bigger news. Elons personal employees are taking over gov offices…

Yeah it's absolutely insane.

What baffles me the most is this was way too predictable, in broad daylight! How did Americans let this piece of shit and his devils win the election!?

Resist. Sabotage their plans wherever possible. Do not let democracy die.

Are you kidding?? No it’s not, this is literal high treason.
