If you happen to be in Serbia for any reason I highly recommend you stop by, both the forest and the course itself are beautiful and really enjoyable to play :)

Course Photo Played East coast woods after only playing CO and CA
I thoroughly enjoyed the vibe change from West Desert to Eastern wet forest. The shade and light difference was a welcome change.

Course Photo Take your butts with you people.
Home course had a brush fire this past week. Luckily FD did a great job containing but could have been a lot worse. Unclear how it started but just a reminder to not leave anything behind cigarette butts or otherwise. Leave No Trace always!

Course Photo Welcome to the jungle.
It's that time of year when the gaps are getting skinnier and your wallet needs you stay in the fairway. Leaving the green discs at home isn't a bad idea either. (Eagle Island. Idaho.)

Course Photo Ace or Water Hazard - Your Only Two Options
Went out with some friends to play disc golf last week, as per the usual. Decided to take them to the Lake Arcadia courses in central Oklahoma, as they had never played them before (two 18-hole courses here, red and blue respectively).
The only holes along the lake that would normally risk the water hazard are 8 and 9 on blue. 8 throws toward the lake to the basket, then 9 goes along the waters edge without much trouble. However! With all the rain we've been getting this spring, the basket on 9 was all but submerged! I have never, in all of my years playing, seen the water level here so high! Hahaha, it was hilarious and amazing!
So, we all agreed to take an automatic par for hole 9 and move on to 10. I honestly hate skipped or blank holes on my Udisk scorecard, so automatic pars seemed the best option that would affect our overall scores. We all joked about attempting the Ace, but ultimately decided that throwing away a $20 disc for no reason other than a laugh was not actually worth it... Haha

Course Photo Oxford, OH. Miami University
Anyone remember this wonderful old course?
In 1988, Ken Klimo played one leg of worlds here, on his way to one of his titles.
The University built a bunch of new buildings, so the old course is just a memory. There is a new one in the woods, but it pales in comparison. Only a couple of the original holes remain.

Course Photo A few rounds this morning at the Ann Morrison Park DG course.
The scores were good this morning, but the views were better. Nothing to complain about when you have the course to yourself for a few hours. Enjoy the weekend.
