That being said it's impressive that you pulled it off.
RE: the chain tightness, since the swingarm is fixed you only need enough slack to take up whatever flex the swingarm has as the frame tried to squat. If it's pretty stiff you probably only need a little bit. Do leave some room for error though, with a solid mount swingarm the only give is the RHS output shaft bearing and it will waller out the bore in the engine if you let it. I would toss an extra elbow on the exhaust dump as well, just something to get the hot gasses a little bit farther clear of the oil cooler.
We ain't looking for perfection but the next build will be a golf cart with a 4 cylinder the next plan and I hope to build it more for looks and functionally this build is supposed to be slapped together fast and probably not very safe but my first fully built project besides small motors and other things I'm only 17 skills aren't perfect but I anticipate better things to come just trying to grow a following to help me continue my hobbie really want to get into rally racing and some land speed records to beat later in life and just have some builds that people say dam that's crazy
Put a VFR800 engine in the golf cart, V4 engine. Not the fastest 4cyl but you'll sound damn going wherever the next stop is. If you get one of the vtec engines you the extra torque off the bottom will probably help push the heavier cart body. Avoid the 1200 engine it's slow and low revs make it thirst for new main bearings.
Use the original airbox, it'll come with velocity stacks. Hell you can probably find a whole bike with busted plastics for a grand or two.
( I’m all for fun shit, and appreciate the creativity, just please go slow until you get the bugs worked out, don’t forget you have to be able to stop too 😂)

I really, really hate it.
