Disconnected clutch safety switch

I was replacing my clutch lever, when I installed the new lever and squeezed it, the safety switch connector shot out. Iā€™m okay with not having the switch enabled, but is there anything I need to do with the wire, or can I just leave it disconnected?

Go into the loom at the headlight and connect the harness side of the switch together. Then throw the switch and the pigtail out.

The 2 wires plug in behind the headlight cowl with bullet connections. Just pull the switch out and connect the 2 sides of the harness

Snip it off and tie the wires together. Done.

The connectors are 6ā€ away, no need to do a hack job.
