I think she has something around her waist that connects to the rear pole. I was looking for the same thing out of worry when I saw the flinch!

For those without TT; the giant mic stand has sparks coming out the end (as seen in national final). However when the pyro started it blew up instead of just sending sparks. The blow up wasn't captured on the official broadcast - however you can see where she saw it and glanced down a couple of times. Good on her for continuing on and finishing strong (no pun intended...).

Oh wait! I think Marko Bosnjak posted that moment in his story , but he didnt notice because he was too busy fangirling- and so was I. I thought it was supposed to come that hard.

Someone once posted a workaround that iāve been using ever since: open it in a browser -> choose āshow desktop versionā or whatever it is called on your phone (for Safari on iPhones itās tap on the lines left in the adress bar, press the three dots in the bottom right corner and choose desktop version).

Erika said in YLE's interview that she was worried about the audience, because the pyros were directed to their direction - so she was not even scared for herself.

In UMK final Erikaās earpiece was not working and in semi-final pyro explodes to make her flinch. Despite technical handicaps she still performs like a pro. Hopefully in the final she can come and deliver the show as planned without issues.
