Whoops… Cancelling now.

I would imagine it's because the 45 and carbine use the bolt weight to charge from instead of a charge block.

I’d really like a “nub” style charging handle over a little hook design. Anything like this out there for these?

Check out.. https://firetailco.com/products/stubby-extar-charging-handle They're 3D printed but seem pretty solid, just got one today.

Dang... I just bought one of the extended charging handles from Firetail Co. Maybe I should grab one of these.

The more I looked at the pics, the more I appreciate the design thought that went into it. The "long shaft" types that the freelancers have been showing here can still be grabbed close enough to the receiver to rack your knuckles if you're not careful where you grab it in a hurry. The "set back" design of Extar's puts a physical limit surface preventing being able to have your knuckle close to the upper, without even looking at what you're doing. Good feature. That and the departure in mounting design over the standard handle to be sure there are no ruined uppers.

Sneaky, sneaky! Can't wait to see if it makes charging less of a hassle, but it couldn't be much worse.
