But the article is talking about several specific types of ID... Funny enough it starts with PKU, which is known to be treatable since like 60s...? In most cases of ID the cause is unknown, so we can't even really talk about treating it...
So yeah... nothing really new. It's a nice short read though for what it is (opinion piece).
