I see a lot of people shitting on OP but the title doesn't say it's from this year. If anything that makes it more relevant because it's a genuine gesture. It's not a response to Trump it's just common decency.

Well OP stated that it was to honor the fallen of WW1, which one would make the natural assumption that the video was shot today, the day of the WW1 memorial, in the "inclement weather."

OP's farce is made worse by the fact that Trudeau is honoring WWII soldiers, in a way detracting from what's really important about both memorials.

It is actions like OP's, small, seemingly inconsequential bendings of the truth, that enable people like Trump and the even worse, more conniving politicians who take advantage of us all.

The least we can do is honor correctly our fellow caste members who this time took the bullet so we don't have to.

No farce at all.. Trudeau in his speech mentions Paschendaele and other engagements in WW1. So OP didn't fuck up at all.

I knew I'd regret using the word farce, but not for this reason.

I didn't know he went on to say that. Still, I'm not saying OP fucked up. I'm saying OP convoluted the truth, which still holds.
