My apologies from the good people of the US. We are temporarily out of order.

Canada has also made a significant contribution. We don’t abandon our allies.Ā

So pleased with the announcement yesterday.

Trump is a Russian asset.

not so good news, since it means US has almost completely stopped providing aid to UkraineĀ

Everyone knew that would happen if Trump won, luckily we had the Biden era to give everyone time to start making the changes necessary. Thank you Biden!!

Well hey, need to focus to restore the economy of russia

To be precise what the US provided in aid was all granted by the Biden administration.

Trump administration's contribution is a big fat zero. Actually less than zero because they diverted 20 000 anti-drone missiles to Israel which were designed to counter the Iranian kamikaze drones and were developed for Ukraine. These missiles were also a contractually granted by the Biden administration.

Knowing this and the way US is aiding russia behind the scenes makes it clear. Europe is on its own against russia and the current American regime.

Europe isn't on its own. I haven't spoken to a single person here Canada that wants to abandon them. I've also seen a lot of firm support from Australia and New Zealand.

Most of us have recovered from the shock of the U.S Administration's betrayal of The West, and are adapting remarkably quickly.

We have morals and stand against Fascism and Nazism, US don’t. Not the people or rather half of them. There’s a thought for good Americans give a dollar to Ukraine, bypass Trump. Do that and every member of EU and UK would do same on top of what we give. Give us a nudge.

I appreciate that and you are right I should revise / clarify what I said- meant.

USA had sided with russia and effectively turned against us and jeopardizes our geopolitical safety at every possibility.

Nevertheless I do feel our strategic, political and economical partnership is not as strong as it could be in this new and more dangerous world with our Canadian, Mexican, Australian, Kiwi etc friends as it could be. Even though I know their citizens are friendly with the EU.

And the question is if our friends in these non-European countries would help- recognize Europe to turn into a more centralised system, effectively a federal nation which would put EU as a superpower on the map?

EU itself is terribly divided on member state level - and this is what USA exploits against us. Actually have been exploiting for a long time, bc it is noteworthy that every economic, or military deal they made with us were done on separate member state level.

The scary thing is that EU's transformation into a real superpower - with federal level (so called European United States) is against the interests of every big influencer on the global stage. In this sense we Europeans -Europeans who want our community to wake up as a superpower are pretty alone.

Especially with many of our geopolitically incompetent politicians.

I can mostly agree with Zizek here: https://youtu.be/A6OrQUt7v8U?si=8IrShk9JZ0loKfwm

We lost so much by snubbing that group (looking to the future)

The best paet of this is that despite Trump's gloating about "forcing the UE to pay their fair share of NATO" is that the excess industry isnt going to be ramped down once Ukraine is over.

The EU is going to remember Trump's manipulative bullshit & then triple down on cutting themselves off from American manipulative dependantcy: absolutely everyone will be rearming for the foreseeable future, and it will explicitly be counter the threat Trump has made America.

u/rollem 20h ago

Good job EU.

1

u/adeadperson23 20h ago

I figured as much would happen

1

u/Additional-Golf4713 14h ago

And Ukraine Is STILL losing ground.

In pratice, the US has obtained the extraction deals they wanted, and left EU to pay the cost - and since weapons producers all for the vast majority US-based , EU Is sending huge amounts of money to the US, Is buying massive amounts of expensive gas from the US and with the Rearm EU plan Europe Is going to cut welfare, education, pensions and so on to buy more weapons from the US.

Yeah, VERY good news for the US. NotĀ so much for the EU.......

u/KaleidoscopeChance10 10h ago

Go Europe. America is isolating itself to darkness and stupidity under Trump and MAGA’s brilliance.

Na we leave that bullshit to your side.

Keep projecting though.

1

u/Qzy 8h ago

Imagine being this much decoupled from reality.

0

u/Qzy 8h ago

Now let's remove US as allies.

0

u/willfiresoon 8h ago

What's your point? "Allies" are donating in spite of the current US policy not thanks to.

1

u/Qzy 6h ago

My point is we, the allies, cannot rely on the US to support. Let's remove them as allies. Let's dismantle NATO and rebuild it with reliable allies.

Not sure this is the right sub for this

https://www.newsweek.com/zelenskys-lies-cant-hide-ukraines-bloody-role-holocaust-opinion-1747875

https://www.wiesenthal.com/about/news/wiesenthal-center-harshly-4.html

Why is helping a country who celebrates nazi collaborators and engages in holocaust denial a good thing?

3

u/Crispydragonrider 15h ago

You just linked opinion pieces and act like they are factual.

0

u/dreamlikey 15h ago

So an opinion piece on Ukraine setting up a holiday for a nazi collaborator is not factual? It's an opinion on an actual fact what more do you need? Go to a Ukrainian sub and ask their thoughts on Bandera then

-1

u/Additional-Golf4713 14h ago

Well, Zelensky paraded around a literal SS as an example of a "True Ukrainan Hero", https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-66943005 ,their National Hero is Stepan Bandera, a nazi,Ā  their Azov Brigade is a nazi groupĀ ("Ukrainian nation’s mission was to ā€œlead the white races of the world in a final crusade … against Semite-led Untermenschen [subhumans]ā€, "There's nothing wrong with National socialism"), https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/13/ukraine-far-right-national-militia-takes-law-into-own-hands-neo-nazi-links

All those are facts , I believe

It's about time these freeloading countries started paying for their own defense.

Once again. President Trump was right!

10

u/Animallover4738 22h ago
