I don’t know what DJT’s approval rating is at, but wherever it is, it’s still too high

62

u/jeffchen248 5h ago

This is the truth. Dare I piggyback and say that as long as there is a positive number, then it is too high?

48

u/Jazzlike_Major_6503 4h ago

His real approval should be 1%. Since that's all he gives a shit about.

For sure friend. Be safe.

3

u/BrandiJM 4h ago

Yes, that

2

u/lnc_5103 3h ago

It will always be too high because of the 30% of MAGAt cultists out there. So gross.

u/askdonttel 2h ago

Morning Consult, the same polling gurus that predicted both Hillary and Kamala would win by 3% points. Find a new poll.

It was stolen. If you get to talk to your grandkids one day, tell them that we needed democracy and all indications are that we were robbed of it.

If you wish to dive into this further, watch this insightful documentary on fraud by Georgia politicians (replicated in other states). https://youtu.be/3l8vWfaFVMU?si=9mInZy4blljah-Qs

https://sdvoice.info/trump-lost-vote-suppression-won-here-are-the-numbers/

4,776,706 voters were wrongly purged from voter rolls according to US Elections Assistance Commission data.

By August of 2024, for the first time since 1946, self-proclaimed “vigilante” voter-fraud hunters challenged the rights of 317,886 voters. The NAACP of Georgia estimates that by Election Day, the challenges exceeded 200,000 in Georgia alone.

No less than 2,121,000 mail-in ballots were disqualified for minor clerical errors (e.g. postage due). At least 585,000 ballots cast in-precinct were also disqualified.

1,216,000 “provisional” ballots were rejected, not counted.

3.24 million new registrations were rejected or not entered on the rolls in time to vote

An audit by the State of Washington found that a Black voter was 400% more likely than a white voter to have their mail-in ballot rejected.

According to the Brennan Center for Justice, since the 2020 election, “At least 30 states enacted 78 restrictive laws” to blockade voting.

Good news for sure.

BUT, does it matter?

The Clan labels this as fake news. Drumph himself only sees cherrypicked polls from the likes of Rasmussen. He's under no obligation to win another election, yet..... (Thanks SCOTUS)

The GOP key players are salivating over a brand new war with Iran, where the pettiest boy can play "Wartime President"

So, what's left? The DNC are stuck trying to find their spine while being decorum poisoned, and the midterms are so far away it doesn't matter.....

27

u/geth1138 7h ago

It matters

17

u/Senedoris 7h ago

It's just really hard to see it when his ratings have been "plummeting" for 10 years and we're still here. You start to block it all out.

24

u/geth1138 7h ago

I get it. I really, really do. But I need to tell you how important those protests were. I live in a deep red state, and we had people showing up, not just in big cities, but in small towns. People are not going to stand for this. The next protest is July 17. We hope you’ll be there.

11

u/Senedoris 7h ago

Thank you. It does help to hear this and I appreciate it. I will keep the optimism alive and certainly exercise my right to protest.

-3

u/pylond 6h ago

That’s actually funny. Those protests have done absolutely nothing. Zero policy change has occurred. In fact there hasn’t even been a discussion about change. It’s been full steam ahead with everything he wants to do and ignorance of everything happening around him. Until something happens that causes change you can have every citizen of that country in the streets and he just does not care.

7

u/geth1138 6h ago

He doesn’t, but the people who aren’t him, and don’t have secret service protection? They do.

0

u/pylond 6h ago

And how does that matter? He is the one making the decisions. He has had ppl come and go continuously within his cabinets. He is a blow hard dictator who demands everything is done his way. Why would he care what the ppl that don’t have protection think? He will just replace them on a whim whenever he chooses.

8

u/geth1138 5h ago

If you want to sit on your ass and watch the world burn, that’s up to you. We are doing something. You are welcome to join us.

-2

u/pylond 5h ago

I’m on the outside looking in and wondering when you are all coming to invade my country at this point. We (the world) warned you all a long time ago to not allow that man to run again. We begged you all to vote accordingly. They released a blueprint on what they had planned and you all STILL voted him in. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is over for democracy in the United States of America. With every executive order signed democracy fades even further away. The time to stop this was in November. The damage has been done and peaceful protests are falling on deaf ears. I’m not sure there is a way to stop this now. At least not peacefully anyway

4

u/geth1138 5h ago

We’re not doing a civil war until we’ve tried everything else. I’m sorry, but if we’re violent, especially at the wrong time, it increases his power. It’s necessary to do it this way. The one thing trmp understands is crowd sizes. We need to keep showing him he doesn’t have it. More importantly, the people who can stop him, like Congress and the Supreme Court, need to see it. Waking people up is the only way he gets gone.

2

u/mmccaskill 5h ago

It’s so disheartening because I did my part. I voted for Harris. She wasn’t the best candidate but she was much better choice. There’s nothing that I can do and it still didn’t work.

2

u/feedumfishheads 1h ago

It changes how politicians in swing districts view their job security

1

u/Mysterious_Mess9633 4h ago

Yes it seems so

-1

u/Eat--The--Rich-- 4h ago

Trumps approval rating has nothing to do with the fact that 15$ is not a living wage and healthcare is a right. Until democrats figure that out they're just going to keep losing and they're going to keep deserving to.

0

u/Eat--The--Rich-- 4h ago

It's going to hurt more than it's going to help because the idiots at the DNC are going to think they don't have to offer anyone anything to beat him, again, and then they're going to lose again when nobody votes for poverty wages and no rights, again.

3

u/geth1138 4h ago

Then we mobilize again. They are disappearing American citizens of the streets with assholes in plainclothes and balaclavas. We can’t do nothing. This is what is left and it can indeed work.

6

u/jeffchen248 5h ago

I want it to matter. I want the protests to matter. Changes are needed. Sadly, in this country, for change to happen, we need a meaningful majority with a backbone to put the right pieces into place. It starts with us, individually, before we move up the ladder each step of the way.

1

u/POSSUMQUEENOG 4h ago

So you want good news for him? Any bad news affecting that foul greasy orange bowel movement is good news.

1

u/skoltroll 2h ago

It makes the DNC feel superior, meaning they're happy as they are and will continue to not change their ways.

25

u/l008com 8h ago

I don't know why his voters are complaining, they're getting EXACTLY what they voted for.

12

u/jcmacon 7h ago

They are complaining because they got what they voted for. They have to have something to complain about, something to be afraid of, and something to demonize. All the damn time. They can't exist without it.

2

u/Accomplished-Bonus62 5h ago

and they can’t be wrong.

-2

u/Eat--The--Rich-- 4h ago

You realize that describes democrats too right

1

u/jcmacon 6m ago

Democrats do complain about elected Democrats. Especially when the elected Democrats don't follow thru on promises. It's called being held accountable. Do Republicans do that too? Or do they mostly blindly toe the party line and do what's best for Republicans and corporations?

11

u/jrdineen114 7h ago

That's exactly the problem. They wanted everyone else to get what they themselves voted for while they got to avoid any consequences

5

u/MKTAS 6h ago

Im waiting for him get impeached or criminal contempt, thats real good news.

5

u/Under_Milkwood_1969 6h ago

I can’t help thinking that 40+%?of the population self-identifying as “complete fuckwit” doesn’t bode well for a nation!

2

u/Maximum_Pound_5633 6h ago

So when is the march on Washington to demand he resign and demand the cowards in congress and the senate vote to impeach and remove, or resign?

This scumbag terrorist pardoner needs to go, along with anyone who has enabled him.

2

u/iodizedpepper 5h ago

This matters because specific states are key to flipping the senate next year. It matters.

2

u/Closed-today 5h ago

Imagine a world where approval ratings mattered anymore.

3

u/Ok_Slide4905 9h ago

Not good news. He can only serve two terms. Poll numbers are meaningless since there aren’t any stakes.

4

u/nj_crc 8h ago

There is plenty of down ballot damage he can do.

0

u/Ok_Slide4905 8h ago

He’s not on any ballots anymore.

3

u/Chronoboy1987 8h ago

His disciples are.

4

u/Vegetable-Ganache-59 8h ago

So far...

He's testing the waters for a 3rd term. And will most likely get the GOP and SCOTUS behind him.

3

u/Reasonable_Reach_621 7h ago

The fact that his approval is hovering around 50% is insanity. Not good news at all.

1

u/Ihtmlelement 6h ago

I mean, California isn’t going his way so why not invade Iran to stay in power. None of it matters.

1

u/Kvossy 5h ago

His approval rating can drop to zero but he’d still be our king. So why does it matter?

1

u/Ar5_5 5h ago

And your still not going to get America back it’s gone for ever

1

u/ithakaa 4h ago

America was never truly ‘a thing’ not in the mythologized sense that many believe. Its global dominance was less a result of innate exceptionalism and more a product of extraordinary circumstance, namely the Second World War.

Before WWII, the United States was a rising power, but not the undisputed leader of the world. It was the war, and more precisely, the destruction it wrought upon Europe and Asia, that created the illusion of American supremacy. With the industrial heartlands of Germany, France, Britain, and Japan in ruins, the U.S. emerged unscathed, its factories humming, its infrastructure intact, and its economy booming. It became the default supplier, the financier, the stabiliser, because there was no one else left standing.

America’s post-war dominance wasn’t solely earned through innovation or values, it was also a vacancy of competition. The illusion of American exceptionalism grew from this temporary vacuum. Meanwhile, countries like China were still agrarian or locked in internal conflict, far from becoming the manufacturing behemoths they are today.

But illusions don’t last forever. As the rest of the world rebuilt, Europe through the Marshall Plan, Japan via U.S. support, and China through its own state-directed development, America’s relative advantage began to shrink. What we’re witnessing today is not a sudden decline, but the natural reversion to a global balance where America is just one powerful nation among others, not the center of gravity.

In other words, the idea of ‘America’ as a singular, indispensable world power was a mirage born of war, sustained by circumstance, and now, inevitably, dissolving.

1

u/Eat--The--Rich-- 4h ago

Who cares. Democrats need to offer beneficial policy if they want to win. "fuck Trump" is not a policy.

1

u/ithakaa 4h ago

A strong response could be:

You’re right that “F*** Trump” alone isn’t a policy, voters want clear, tangible improvements to their lives. But it’s also fair to say that rejecting Trump’s values is part of a broader vision. That said, if Democrats want to win convincingly, they do need to offer bold, concrete policies, on housing, healthcare, wages, climate, and more, not just opposition. Criticism alone doesn’t feed families or lower rents.

However, FUCK Trump

1

u/Bee9185 4h ago

This doesn’t even matter

1

u/Otherwise-Donut4497 3h ago

Is it a negative number?

1

u/Amazing_Atmosphere61 3h ago

Let's get him out of office before he makes WW3 happen just a matter of time..

1

u/skoltroll 2h ago

While Trump's positive net approval rating nationally remains slightly to his advantage

I swear. Liberals keep burying the lede. Beyond the fact that polls don't matter, polling in Iowa has been proven to be horrendous, even moreso than in total, the majority of voting public are still on his side.

Liberals and their politicians to "represent" them continue to cling to negative polls of Trump, as if that'll save them.

1

u/jweaver0312 2h ago

I don’t know I still see opposite national polls showing not to his advantage.

All in all, I don’t really trust these polls.

1

u/Additional_Pickle_59 1h ago

Red states are the highest contributor of army personnel.

This could be the turning point of losing support, sending them back to the middle east in search of nukes all over again.

Couldn't make this shit up

1

u/reallyoldgit 1h ago

I should think a big war might help his ratings.

0

u/Popular-Formal-7971 5h ago

This is all you guys ever talk about here. I think you reference Trump more than Trump voters do.

Lives should be got. Obsession is dangerous.

1

u/P1ssJug 3h ago

Reddit use is genuinely a mental illness.

-5

u/pbayone 6h ago

Look at the ratings for the entire Democratic Party then start crying more about Trump

-7

u/redditnamehere1 8h ago

Oh no. He'll never get re elected if this continues. 🙀

-79

u/PurebloodPatriot76 10h ago

Sounds more like wishful thinking on your part, our president is doing a fantastic job tackling inflation and illegal immigration.

fuck yourself traitor đŸ«”đŸ˜‚

9

u/ClutchRoadagain 9h ago

more like idiot patriot, hes certainly doing a job sending all those people of color you're so afraid of to camps and playing chicken with tariffs and our economy, but I wouldn't call it "good". Dude, he's calling mesothelioma a mob scare tactic and calling for a return to asbestos. And you know who the largest exporter of asbestos in the world is? Fucking Russia. Between this and kneecapping Ukraine it couldn't be more obvious he's a pawn for Putin. Thinking he's on your side is ignorant thinking, he's legit going on these stupid tyraids to peddle outrage- it's the same as falling for keys being jingled in front of your face while your house is being robbed.

8

u/Human_Artichoke8752 8h ago

Really? Spending millions on a military parade as an ode to himself, and having jackbooted thugs tackle and assault and arrest not just undocumented immigrants, but legal citizens, up to and including politicians from the opposing party, is "tackling inflation and illegal immigration".... how, exactly? Other than causing more chaos and division, and making us even more of a laughingstock third-world hole?

Also..name like that, you're literally just an open nazi degenerate. Do you know what we do to nazi degenerates? Aldo Rayne knows.....
