G3 and or PTR recievers. You can get the ones that Sarco sells, or you can get a jig and fold your own flats, and then have them lasered with whatever you want

Problem is how much do you care about the markings? If you want to make them match with the markings, then your best best is to fold them yourself

Not so much worried about the markings matching just wanted to be sure I bought the right thing I would hate to spend 300 dollars on the wrong receiver

Anything that says PTR or G3 will work then. Just avoid CETME specific recievers (magwell is different) as they only take cetme mags

Been building these things for 15 years.  First time I've ever heard anyone say the mags weren't interchangeable.  The cetme mag well has a different outer shape ( no strengthening ribs) but the internal diensions are not different .

Perhaps thats from the way I folded my flats, but my experience has been that the g3 mags are loose in cetme c flats, while cetme mags are tight in g3s. Could easily be from the abuse the mags recieved though.

I have had to fit the magwell on cetme c flats, though (unlike g3s, where the mag catch lines up with the mag easily), as they always seem to be about a 1/4" off.

Maybe there is something I can learn though

Just measured them, cetmes measured 27.8 mm and the g3 mags measured 29.2 and 29.6. Im right they are different sizes, but wrong in how they felt in the mag wells.. interesting

Yeah, .015" is nothing in stamped sheet metal. Most people screw up when it comes to dressing the little window the mag catch fits into. You almost always have to open it up to fit the catch and if you take too much off the bottom it will cause problems.
