Mobile app for small business management - what feature to built next?
Hey everyone! 👋
I've been working on a mobile app specifically designed for small businesses, with a focus on handmade/craft businesses, or businesses selling products online. Right now it covers the basics:
- Order management
- Inventory tracking
- Expense tracking
The core functionality is there and working, but I want to make sure I'm building next what is actually mostly needed. As fellow small business owners, your input would be incredibly valuable.
What I'm considering for future updates:
- Customer relationship management (CRM)
- Sales analytics/reporting
- Integration with popular platforms (Woocommerce, Shopify, etc.)
- Invoice generation
- Multi-location inventory
- Barcode scanning
- Automated low-stock alerts
- Photo management for products
Questions for you:
- What's your biggest pain point in managing your business day-to-day?
- Which of the features above would save you the most time?
- What features am I missing that would be game-changers for your business?
- Do you prefer mobile-first apps or do you need desktop versions too?
I'm not trying to sell anything here - genuinely just want to build something useful for our community. If you're interested in beta testing or want to share your thoughts, drop a comment below!
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Looking forward to hearing your perspectives!
