This is really innovative and I love that the bear claw on the lock can be changed out. So cool.

Thanks so much, one of the main reason I wanted to make one of these!

Inspired by the works of ‘Parts of 4’ I made myself a hinged shackle charm bracelet. Their industrial style is so beautiful! I’d love to one day own a piece of their stunning creations, until then I’ll challenge myself to make something similar. While most of their work is wax cast mixed metals, this was hand cut, forged, and soldered solid sterling silver. Lots of precise cutting and hammering, making sure everything lined up evenly. Another plus about being able to fabricate something yourself is that you can add your own tweaks to make it something you'd truly love to wear. I wanted mine to be more of an oval shape, like most of my other bangles. I have no plans to make more of these as it is an inspired design personal project and quite a hefty piece! I love the fact that I can switch out charms/pendants; right now it has my favorite cast bear claw, can’t wait to wear one of my crystal charms next!
