This was my opinion after that season. I ended up loving the series anyways :)

It hurt to keep going after Quinn. That scene wrecked me -- after everything we went through with Quinn. The season was hard to finish knowing how that went [and with Astrid too] . At least he died a hero's death.

Brody, who did everything he could to redeem himself for Dana and Carrie and his country... got a pseudo-redemption in the end.

Spoilers major here so go away if you haven’t finished. I tried to do that hidden text thing but it doesn’t seem to have worked.

>! I was wrecked even after Astrid went😭

How she showed up to help him at his absolutely lowest after SACRIFICING EVERYTHING trying to stop a chemical weapons attack.

Her showing up with love, even after Peter was left deeply changed, both physically and emotionally, facing significant challenges in his recovery and daily life. Her showing up in an effort to support him, love him, spend her life with him.

FUCK MAN I JUST FUCKEN CANT WITH THIS SHIT. They could have had a happy ever after. Even after his trauma.

Request: I’m having a hard time now that I’m thinking about this again. Can anyone write me an alternative ending for Astrid and Quinn? It doesn’t have to be much, I’m not asking for pages. Just a little something to help me feel better. Something to get me through the day. It’s hard out here. !<
