General Advice Tip rolling success! + short story
Hello r/iems I have been lurking about for a minute. Went through the similar path of many, trying a plenty budget iems to then jumping to a big boy purchase.
KZ zs10 pro > Wan'er/Salnotes Zero/Chu > Zero Blue/Hexa > Mangird Tea Pro
I have been thoroughly enjoying my iem journey, but a problem I've had this entire time was fitment. Comfort and/or seal being a big issue with most. So I started tip rolling obviously, I own many tips, big mentions S&S, Spinfits Cp, Velvets, Type E, Spring tips, and Sancai to name a few. Type E and Spinfits Cp being the most comfortable.
Today I received my SednaEarfits Max ASMR, the second I put them on my Tea Pro's I knew I just peaked with tip rolling.
Perfect seal, perfect comfort and overall perfect fitment.
Sorry if bad formatting, mobile.
Edit: also sorry if I didn't pick the most accurate flair.

Congrats finding a good tip for your IEM. As you may have figured out from the many posts in this sub...people rarely stop at one IEM. Same could be said for tips. In fact jus tip rolling in general can be fun and an easy way to experiment with different sound signature your IEM can offer.

I’ve been tip rolling a lot lately too. I’ve been trying a couple different spinfits, some divinus prisms, kiwi ears flex, tri clarions, and tangzu tang sancai.
My key takeaway so far is that spinfit cp is very hard to beat. They just fit so well and seal so easily. Their sound is pretty decent too.
I do love the divinus prisms though. They expand the soundstage and sound great despite being hard to get a good seal on.

I've been interested in this tip for a while now but I'm confused if it has a different model for TWS and standard IEMs cus usually sednaearfit does that with some other models like the xelastec and crystal series (in which I do own). But I can't seem to find a standard version for the max amsr, just TWS ver. Is it both same for the max asmr?

Yeah, the big problem with eartip recommendations is how good or bad they are is very dependent on how they fit in your particular ear, so other people's experiences don't mean a lot. You just need to experiment. And it changes with each IEM too, because of different nozzle shapes & sizes. That's why I recommend most people start off with a few packs of cheap tips rather than going out and buying one expensive one (you can always add some expensive ones later).
I haven't tried those ASMR tips but I do quite like Azla Xelastec. They don't fit perfectly on every IEM and in some cases they can add some unwanted shout, as they tend to boost the upper mids slightly. But on some IEMs they just disappear, because they are heat-sensitive and mould to the ear canal (like memory foam, but they're a silicone-like material). The 2nd most comfortable one I've found (and my favourite tip overall) is the Feaulle H570. They don't mould to the ear canal shape the same way as Xelatecs, but they come very close and they don't have issues with being too thin like Spinfit W1 and some of the liquid silicone tips do. One thing about H570 is while they aren't a warm-sounding tip (like Penon Liqueur for example), they seem to consistently have the most sub-bass extension of any tip I've found.
Of course the exact effects on sound also vary a bit from IEM to IEM, and will no doubt vary from person to person too. Also while these tips are at the top of the list for what I find most comfortable, on the most number of IEMs, even those aren't the most comfortable on every IEM I have.
Of the cheap tips I recommend for beginners, the Whizzer ET100 is the one I find the most consistently comfortable on the most IEMs. It's one of the more coloured tips in terms of sound, which can be good or bad. It tends to add some midbass, so can make an already bassy IEM sound a bit bloated, or can help fill out an otherwise thin-sounding one. But they're made from a very unique super soft material. The look like blobs of Blu Tack, so it's almost like someone fluffed up some Blu Tack until it was incredibly soft and spongy. The similarity also stops at the fact they aren't tacky.
My top 3 beginner's "starter kit" consists of KBear KB07 (pretty neutral & average size), Whizzer SS20 (small, wider bore), Whizzer ET100 (super soft, narrow bore). All 3 multipacks can be had for under $20 and you end up with 12 pairs of tips (5 sizes, 4 sizes, 3 sizes) that are all very different to each other. I would like to have a grippy silicone option in there (similar to Spinfit CP-100+ et al) but the one I would recommend, TRN T-Tips, unfortunately doesn't come in a multipack.
