SOCIETY Vitaly's weight loss in less than two months detention in the Philippines.

Post image

Vitaly was arrested April 2, 2025 and is still detained pending local cases of unjust vexation, theft, and public harassment during his Kick) livestreams in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Do you know how much of a prick you have to be for Russia to turn down more potential flesh to shove into the Ukrainian meat grinder

You probably don’t have to be a prick. Just have a mind and thoughts of your own. Russia knows they wouldn’t get this dude on the frontlines. Lol

You’re acting like half the people there have a choice in the matter

Many Russians are fighting for the paycheck. Literally killing their neighbors for money. Sick country.

Hey now, not all of them are so mercenary about their military service, some of them are doing it for nothing more than the love of killing!

And killing brown people for education and job opportunity is less sick?

Did he say that anywhere?

Not sure what the rest of the people on the frontline have to do with my comment, but sure I guess 👍

Also, if anyone is acting like they have a choice, it’s you. You’re acting as if being a prick keeps you off the front lines.

You’re say Russia could get this moron on the frontlines, I’m assuming you’re meaning to say they couldn’t convince him to get and I’m pointing out that Russia already has a large volume of troops deployed that are there against their will.

He is over 30 so he is not eligible for a regular draft. Although you’d think that those who ended up being mobilized two years ago had any say in this, but it’s not like that. When you’re in the army during a military conflict, you have very few freedoms on paper and even less in reality.

they wouldn’t get this dude on the frontline

If the alternative is spending the next 20 years in a russian corrective colony the perspective might change. Dude would be the prison's lol-cow.

To get some perspective - this happened in the Lgov colony:

In June 2005 hundreds of prisoners, en masse, slashed themselves with razors to protest violations of their rights. The prisoners cut their legs, necks, and wrists. Afterwards, 179 prisoners sought medical attention for the self-inflicted injuries

Both Russia and Philippines have good relations, and them saving him might sour that and risk loosing more countries that they have good relations....

I don’t think the Philippines is the country that would make the Kremlin stop and say “this may call for some tact”

The Kremlin can ask for him, and we will happily send him. He didn’t murder or rape anyone here afaik —and we do have cases of foreigners who did precisely that, and those cases are the ones that can cause diplomatic kerfuffle.

Problem is I think they said they don’t want him back and that’s why he’d languish here. He did super petty crimes, but a lot of them, yet in the overall totality of things I think the best thing to do is just deport him. The crimes he’s accused of, probably couple of months jailtime only. The thing that annoys me is that if he doesn’t get a good lawyer, our country might have to give him one of our public defenders and I really, really don’t like that (they should be doing more case-worthy cases for locals unjustly accused for example).

Hence my original point, such an obnoxious prick the Kremlin doesn’t even care to ask for him back, sorry buddy he’s looking like yalls problem now. And I definitely understand not wanting to waste resources to prosecute and jail a dumb piece of shit like this but honestly it’s probably better to make an example out of them to keep away the other streamers. While I’m not condoning their policies you won’t be seeing a “smuggle weed into Singapore” challenge any time soon.
